These were terrible non-show movers that left us in a terrible lurch. NEVER use them as they are totally unreliable!!

This company did not show up when they said they would. I had confirmed with them a week before and they never showed when I called and emailed they did not respond the day that I was supposed to move but took the money from us I would never suggest this moving company very unprofessional and made a 6 month pregnant woman have to carry things because they did not fulfill showing up. This moving company did not show up!!!! My mom was planning to move today and had hired 2 men and a lady for them to come at 12 noon.... With many phone calls not answered they finally told her they were running behind, In my opinion a good business would make the phone call to you and communicate exactly what was going on, but after speaking with them she still waited for them to show up which by 3:30 she called them and told them never mind. I'm so frustrated with this company and they're customer service!!!!!!! They do not have their own truck/trailer either which makes things difficult. Off the top..I hired them to be there at 10am after multiple calls they did not get there until 2pm which put me way behind schedule. I hired the full crew...2 men and a lady....for packing, moving and cleaning....because at 63 years old trying to pack up an entire house/shed/garage for a cross country move took it's toll on me and after 3 weeks my arms would no longer even allow me to put tape on box, I could pack it, just not seal it. No big deal right? Did my boxes get taped? With the exception of one or two they labeled "Christmas Shit", Nope. What I got was Scott and some druggy guy (who setup his tablet in the garage for easy access) who I spent huge amounts of time looking for and repeating to him what he needed to do (and guess what? I ended up with 5 snow shovels in Texas because the 5 times I told him to leave them in the garage, he didn't hear me), the "lady" NEVER showed up, but kept them on the phone a HUGE amount of the time I was paying for, which was over $800 when all was said and done, plus feeding them. After they finally arrived (they called to say they would be late and arrived 4 hours late, (supposed to be there at 10am got there at 2pm)) it took them 12 hours...count them...12 hours to get my stuff in the truck. No cleaning was done...I hired the third person to help pack the remaining items and clean....their pictures clearly show Scott cleaning...Never Happened. They were aware I was moving long distance, would be putting my things in storage and after almost a year I am finally able to get my things out of storage. Now I am making a list of missing items...easily pawned electronic items, I specifically told them to pack into their original boxes I had saved....no electronics, just other stuff packed in it's place in the boxes, druggy paraphernalia type tools I used for my crafts, empty box there too, 100 yr old family heirloom ceramic knick-knacks, I personally packed into a dresser drawer, and when I opened the drawer they had tightly secured with their cling wrap... it was totally empty. Funny, the electronics, keyboards, mouses and things, they left the empty boxes but took the items. I found the blow torch empty box first (I used for custom candles), empty tank separate, actual torch, gone, keyboards the same. I plan to contact the police to file a report. Beware hiring these folks...I can never replace the antique ceramics handed down in my family and who can place a value on a 100+ year old salt and pepper shaker of an Indian boy and girl in a canoe? or a penguin salt shaker or a donkey pin cushion? Or the more recent vintage gifts to my mom, I bought a ceramic parakeet in 1961 for $1.14 at the 5 & 10 that I had saved up for to give to my mom for Mother's day. Also, because they didn't clean as I paid them to, a month or so later I received a bitchy message from one of the buyers relatives via Facebook. Don't do business with this company. I prepaid for their services through uhaul and they never showed up. I tried calling and texting multiple times and they never responded to me. My husband and I are both disabled and we had to unload the 26' uhaul by ourselves. We hurt ourselves really bad doing this. Don't trust this company. Scam read more

Hired these people to help us load our truck. Said they would be here. They never showed up or bothered to communicate. Luckily I had some local friends my dad offered to pay who were here within minutes. Based on the reviews it seems as though this company shows up if and when they feel like it. By far the best movers my fiancee and I have ever come across! I sure wish I took before and after photos. This company showed up and did a miracle for us. We for sure thought that our 16 foot truck was NOT big enough to store all of our furniture and boxes along with our loose and odd shaped belongings. Natalie and Scott, and Rueben made it happen! If you think you're good at Tetris, and I know I am...I guarantee you they're better! They impressed us and themselves with the amount of stuff we had to move! I had made peace that I would have to rent another mini van or trailer and follow my fiancee for our move...but thanks these people, they made everything fit and with room. Hard working, funny, and fast! They even helped us with our car trailer at the end to make sure it was attached correctly! We both worked for the St. Regis and customer service is a big deal for us. This company, hands down, delivered!!! I wish I could more about them! They are absolutely AMAZING!!! Because of our great experience with "Two Men and a Lady" we called them again. Scott was able to work with our erratic schedule, checked our progress while driving the truckload down from Montana, and made prudent suggestions while offloading our belongings. Scott even warned us about weather on our route. Once again this team helped us efficiently. Two hours later they were done with our job. They could have stretched the project out longer but didn't. Once again they moved heavy furniture around multiple times so we could get the best fit. I tipped heavily I was so impressed. Call them. You will be glad you did. read more

I am SO grateful for 2 Men & A Lady. Last December, I originally hired All My Sons who didn't show up & I had to be out of my apartment by the end of the weekend. I called 2 Men & A Lady panicked at 8pm on Saturday night & they were able to move me at 9am the following morning. Talk about lifesavers! The guys who came were quick and super friendly. They were more than two hours late after I called to confirm the time. Didn't have the decency to get I touch until they were an hour late. On one guy has shown up so far to move my stuff. And I still have an hour drive to my new place. Ridiculous! Will never use them or recommend them. read more

Do not use these movers! They are not professional at all. Repeat: not professional at all. They do not know how to run a business including calling you back if they are going to be late (4 1/2 hrs), or scheduling you during a time they have committed to moving someone else. They were not prepared with supplies like tape or rope to hold things down. Once hired they were very difficult to reach by phone and did not send any information prior to the move. These movers actually cost me more money: fined for not following condo rules and moving after 5pm, ( I specifically told them I needed an early morning move to avoid this but the movers arrived at 12:30pm and finished by 6:10), the elevator floor was scratched even though mats were placed on the floor, a leg was broken on a very nice armoire, another armoire had 3 nicks on front doors because the doors were not secured with tape or rope. Another moving company had to be hired to move the bulk of the furniture because this company came late and brought too small of a truck. I had to supervise the move, warning about hitting lights or bumping against newly painted walls. It is stressful enough to move but when you are getting this type of service it adds to the stress. The movers attitudes did not help as they were surly and seemed angry at each other. I was unable to find another mover until 6 days later and had to ask for an extension from the owners of the house I was moving from. Unprofessional comments did not instill confidence in my move either. The "lady" disappeared and I was told by one of the men "she has a lady thing problem and is not feeling well." An apology was given by one of the men for being late as he went out the door but unfortunately added "hey, that dude out there has not had a vacation for 2 years and it's his birthday today, too." I am embarrassed I hired these people to move me. But this being the first time moving in 30 years, I trusted YELP's reviews. Mistake. However, looking at the reviews I see that 2 are from the owners of this company. I appreciate that this is a family trying to make a living but this is not their gig. Affordable, honest, friendly!! These guys saved my butt, and they were cheaper than my original movers! My roommate and I had our movers cancel on us last second. Literally at 7 o'clock the night before. Desperate, I called this place Sunday morning, figuring that even if they could help, we'd end up paying an insane amount. I'm not sure if they normally work Sundays, but the company that cancelled on me also cancelled on several other people and they were already slammed. Nonetheless, they managed to work my roommate and I in. This is a family run company, and they don't have their own truck. You have the option of using your own, or they can rent one for you from UHaul. Here's how honest this company is: it's $40 to rent a truck from UHaul. Guess how much they charged us? $20, because we were sharing with another customer who also didn't have a truck. They showed up a little late because they were so busy, but when they got there they worked hard and efficiently. We were charged for two men, and they brought two extra, though one was obviously in training. We didn't get charged any extra for this. They were just there to help things go faster. Everyone was also really friendly, and they got our beds set up correctly and nothing was broken. Our final bill was exactly what was quoted to us. HORRIBLE COMPANY DON'T USE I set up service 3 weeks before our move was told everything was good to go and we would have 3 people that would be helping us with our move. The night before I received a phone call asking if we could go and pick up the moving truck from a locate rental company and the movers would drive and use it and return the truck. I was told the truck was put of the cost of our move and that the rental cost would be completely taken care of by them. So day of our move my husband went and pick up the truck and drove it to our home. Everything was ready boxes packed our beds all broken down only one thing missing THE HELP. NO ONE SHOWED to help us. I called and called trying to get a hold of anyone from Two Men and a Lady and only got voice mails. We were unable to move that day so we returned the rental and we were charged for the truck. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE SO UNPROFESSIONAL still haven't been able to get a hold of the office and all I got from the guy that set our move was quote ...you picked up the truck the bill is your problem. This company helped me move in November of 2014. They were on time, and moved all of my heavy stuff with no damage or complaint. They were very organized in fitting our furniture in our moving van, and even put my washer in their vehicle to avoid multiple trips. Very nice people. I appreciate them! read more

This company was hired to move my mom last week. They showed up 4 hours late, did not pick up the phone when we called, and did not have the right size truck. So they only moved 1/4 of her things and were unable to come back the next day. I can not believe how terrible and unprofessional they were. I would NEVER use them or recommend them. read more

Highly recommend using them! My wife and I were moving and they showed up on time. They were extremely careful with all our furniture. They were able to make everything fit in our uhaul. The crazy part was when our truck broke down while it was still in our driveway, we had to have uhaul tow it to Ogden. We told uhaul to send them back to do a transload from one truck to another. If I wasn't happy with them the first time, I wouldn't have called them back. They showed up and did an amazing job taking all our stuff from one truck to another. They were such good workers. They stayed up until 1AM to finish the load! I couldn't be happier with their service. I will ONLY use them for any future moves. All my friends/coworkers/family will be referred to them.
