Horrible. I've been coming here for about 10 years and after new management it's been horrible. Yesterday I brought in my Jeep for an exterior service. I had to redry it when I got home. Today I brought in my wife's car and see what the result was. I told the attendant, "Aren't you you going to finish my car?" It was full of soap and water. "Go talk to boss." Was all I got. Can we really trust people to be honest about the services they provide? Apparently, that's a tough one. Let me share my experience. I arrived to get the full package 20 minutes before closing and spoke with an employee, "Angela," who went car window to window taking cc. I made sure to ask about my antennas on the car, and Angela assured me that they wouldn't be damaged in the machine. She even instructed the attendants to keep the top roll bar up, so I trusted the process would be fine. The other equipment they use to clean around the car's backend got caught on one of the antennas, ripping it off and smashing its base on the concrete. I didn't notice this right away, but a few miles later, after parking, I realized the antenna was missing and that my scanners and radios were off. I called immediately to report the damage, and planned to come in person to investigate. But by the time I arrived, the place had already closed at 6 PM, and there was no one left, just a ghost town. The only person around was an older gentleman named Camarillo, who didn't speak much English and was locking up. I insisted on inspecting the machinery and found the broken pieces of my antenna scattered all over the floor. No one at the business returned my calls, and they're still not picking up their phones. To make matters worse, their website is shady, and the listing on Yelp is misleading--this is not "2 Guys," it's Mahopac Car Wash. The calls to their business number come up as "Jr Dynamic Auto Corp," and the business card I received says "Mahopac Auto Repair Corp." It's a confusing mess. Looking through their other low ratings, I can see that their customer service is subpar at best. In hindsight, I should have checked the reviews before coming here, and I strongly advise that you do the same. If they don't take responsibility and replace my property, I'll be reviewing my documentation with my attorney. All my opinion based in facts of what occurred. Be cautious. The idea that they up charge for a small SUV is absolutely ridiculous. The guys are so busy chitchatting with one another and not paying attention to the job they are doing. When I left and got home. I realized all my windows were pretty spotty. I was very disappointed. This place used to be nice until these new people took over. Twice the price and a lousy job! read more

Don't use these guys. After bringing her 2019. Showroom condition Mercedes E450 we found a series of scratches on the passenger side door--and the way my OCD girlfriend takes care of her car, there was no doubt how they got there. With about 5 days from the wash to today, she did not have the receipt. They also do a lousy job of drying the car (after 2 or 3 visits). Should we have gone to the owner to complain? Really--what are they going to say or do? And the receipt is long gone so there's no way we could prove she went there. Just a little heads up. read more

This was THE BEST car was experience I have ever had. My exterior looked nice after all the washing and waxing but even better was the care and detail the guys took with the interior. Now called Mahopac car wash THEY STOLE MY HANDICAP PARKING PASS, AND SCHOOL PARKING PASS Literally took it out from the closed divider between the seats and brought it into the building. I got home and I couldn't find it. I called told him that I was coming right there to find it. I pulled in and of course three different guys had to look in my car because you know, they couldn't have taken it. Then one guy comes out with my parking pass from the building. And all he has to do is say I'm sorry. I'm sorry for stealing it? Then I want my school parking pass. They check my car again and I tell them it's in the building. Guess what? A different guy comes out with it and has to clean it off. THEY STOLE, I REPEAT THEY STOLE A HANDICAP, PARKING PASS, AND A SCHOOL PARKING PASS. So now I have to contact Somers clerk just to make sure that they didn't make a copy of it. And I have to alert my school that someone may have made of may have made a copy of my parking pass. read more

Mahopac Car Wash sold us 20 car wash coupons last year and this month they posted that they will not be honoring the coupon since they were sold by the old owner effective 5/1/2023. We have tried to contact John , the owner twice to sort this issue. The employees who have been working for 18 months say that they have not seen the owner ever. I have lived up here 22+ years and discovered one of the best car wash places in this entire area. Courteous, kind, respectful and professional. Without asking they noticed my license plates and gave me a Veteran's discount. Great wash and thorough drying. Interior on a simple wash was immaculate. Even when they are doing just the outside, they take their time, wipe down and dry everything and never have I left there with ANY water dripping or some area of the vehicle left undone. Could not find the prices anywhere and called to find out, but no luck. You can't see the prices for various options until you're well into the line of cars approaching the car wash entrance. Very kind woman checked my car with a marker indicating the package I was getting. The place is well organized and runs smoothly. My only complaint is that they're a little more expensive than other places in the area and are not as upfront with their prices. read more

Great place for an exterior wash. Exterior wash is fast and fairly priced. Interior cleaning can be hit or miss. They vacuumed before removing the mats for cleaning (I had to remove the mats and vacuum). There can be a bit of a wait for interior cleaning but it's worth it. Waiting room is air conditioned and has clean bathrooms. Service is great and all the employees work hard and fast. read more

I've been going here since it opened. I believe it was recently sold to a new owner. I no longer get the Veterans discount which is his option. But, what really got to me, they are charging $2.00 extra per wash (oversize vehicle) on any SUV. I have a Honda CRV and a BMW X3 which are both small SUV's and not considered oversize by any other car wash! I've tried numerous times trying to reach the owner both by phone and going back in person with no success. He is never there! I feel this is a ripoff! Truthfully.. the prices are fairly reasonable. They're not crazy expensive for what you get.. but that's the catch of it all. They are extremely slow, and disorganized. I paid for the top tier cleaning with the "vip" interior. It's supposed to include a variety of items including dash, tires, fragrance, etc. The intimacy line to get your car through took about 25 minutes. Very very long to just get washed when there was only 3 cars ahead of me. Once it was out and the team had to do their part, everything just felt sloppy. One person told me I was done, so when I looked at my car, I was really disappointed. My tires weren't done, and my inside wasn't touched. Normally I would've just left and done the job at home. When I asked someone why it wasn't done though, he told me I wasn't done even though someone else told me I was. So basically I could've left and no one would've said anything to me, and I paid for an extra service without any of the completed items. I really want to like this place, and I gave the 3 stars based on price, just can't give more due to what you get for what you pay. read more

This place is Ok. I usually get my car hand washed but decided to try this place, all I can say is I will NOT be going back. My car is 4 months old and now has deep scratches on the front rim. I've read all the reviews for 2 Guys as well as other Car Wash stops. It appears that the Car Wash business is one that you'll never really please the customers unless they leave with a new paint job, detailing and a 5 year warranty. My expectations are keep in check and therefore I always have a happily washed car. I had a problem once and the owner made it totally right! Gary (if he's there)will always talk to the customers and address any concerns. I drive a 2016 X5 and decided it's only a car (I first thought to only wash it myself [that lasted 2 months] and never take it through a machine.)Now the back is full of dog hair and dust from the pooch-run and 2 Guys does a great job on the interior. Yes, it's sometimes a long wait, I've learned to accept that, however, the guys there do a fine job, more than I'd probably do myself. All in all set expectations reasonably, allow enough time, don't be in a rush (we're all getting to the end one day, don't rush it, bring a Kindle or Yelp away! It seems Yelp hid the best recent reviews, go to the bottom and look at the additional reviews. read more

Unfortunately I had damage to my car, it occurred on the Saturday before Memorial Day. I didn't notice it until Sunday night when I went to close the panel for my sun roof. Apparently the guy broke it by trying to pull it closed rather then use the electric button. They were already closed. They were closed Memorial Day. Called Tuesday after Memorial Day. I have been calling ever since, no return calls. Supposedly he was reviewing his security tapes. 3 weeks now numerous calls to him and still no response . Not good business!!! read more

Earlier in the week my car was egged. I stopped at a car wash on my way home from work and was told I would need the car to be hand washed in order to get the egg off. I had $15, the gentleman said not enough. I drove down to 2 Guys and the pipes were frozen. Angelette, the young woman running the car wash, saw the egg on my car and said I can't let you drive around like that and had me pull over and power washed the egg off for me. She suggested I come back later when the pipes thawed and she would take good care of me. What awesome customer service. They gained a customer for that simple act of courteous customer service. Have been going to this car wash in Mahopac for some time. Went today and young female who was checking me in for my wash/interior was the most disgusting human being. My wheel hit the metal and she actually accused me of trying to hit her. Continued to say I could have KILLED her. I apologized for BUMPING the metal and she continued to YELL at me. Then YELLED about me putting it in neutral which I was doing when she YELLED I had it in reverse, I was putting it in neutral. Employee ran to owner to let him know, obviously she realized she overreacted like MAJOR. Owner stated he saw video, seemed he was defending her at first, then offered me FREE CAR WASHES!! My car got parked under a tree a few nights ago and had stains of wet leaves and cranberries all over it ! I started my morning at a different car wash place that told me the drive through car wash wouldn't help my car and the only way to get it all off was to pay $120 for a special hand wash and I'd have to leave it there for 2 hours!! They wouldn't even let me do the $30 hand wash because they said it would just take their guys too long.... I was not paying that! So I went to this car place which was recommended to me and I'm SOOO happy I went! the women that worked there was AMAZING !!!! She was so knowledgeable and helpful !! She took the time to spray my car down and wash off all the stains with a big foam broom before she even sent it through the car wash !!!! $24!!!! And my car inside and out was BEAUTIFUL and took 20 minutes !! Definitely worth it read more
