Open today, surprise! So good and the counter service was excellent. I had the taco plate (so many taco varieties) and hubby had the liver and onions, Mexican style. We shared the guacamole and chips. Everything was fresh and delicious. Hand made corn tortillas and the beef barbacoa were our favorites. I didn't know this place was here because you can't see it from Park Row, but I read the great reviews and decided to give them a try. So glad that I did!! I got some breakfast tacos and they were some of the best I can remember having!! They were street taco sized but full of fillings on homemade corn tortillas and reasonably priced at $1.99 each. Salsa was very good, too. They give you both red and green sauce, and the red packs a little punch. The restaurant is small but spotlessly clean and the staff were very friendly- obviously a family run spot. I think I'll be going back tomorrow!!! read more

We stopped by here on a whim. The place was simple but inviting. The food on the other-hand was great! The guac was great and the chips had some flavoring added.... YUMMY! Service was great as well. I tried some pastor, steak, and chicken tacos(Actually, I tried more things, I forgot the name of them) el lotte(corn), and churros. All of them were the best, which I've had. Also, they have great salsa sauce. There is something special in the sauce. If you taste their sauce, you will fully understand my feelings. I recommend red sauce but it can be a little bit spicy. 2. My company provides breakfast every Friday to our employees. Rolando and his team at 2 Compas have been amazing! I have tried other options, but my team absolutely loves 2 Compas. I no longer have to spend time figuring out what we will have for Friday breakfast. They have the most amazing handmade tortillas and will customize any order. If you want vegan, vegetarian, or just regular, they definitely deliver! I feed 30 or so people every Friday and this is our "go to" spot. Great service and great food! You have to try it to believe it! Unfortunately the service has really gone downhill. They no longer are able to provide the service they initially did. On one occasion they never showed up at all and I got a call saying it would be another hour because they were locked out of their kitchen. After they were already 20 minutes late. I had to scramble to figure out an alternative on Friday morning. So disappointing. This used to be my employee's favorite place for Friday breakfast. I tried today to call on them one more time to see if they could make a fresh start with us in the new year, but they said it would take them 30 minutes later than normal because they have a new crew. I started to give only 4 star because of atmosphere but decided that wasn't fair. Food quality and value are excellent. Friendly staff. I had a taco pastor, very good. Also a bistec gordita, which was good. My wife had a bistec quesadilla which was more than she could eat. They all tasted so good that we look forward to trying other dishes. Give it a try. This place is the tits! THE best tacos and of course other food as well. They have homemade tortillas and the best salsas. They are no joke. The green sauce is a strong "medium" and the red is "make a grown man sweat and cry." Spicy. I have seen it happen. Hands down my favorite taco place in Arlington, you have to try them out! Forget any thoughts you have against 'gas station food' when you see it because these guys will blow you away with how great they can cook. I stop by every week to start my day w some chorizo and egg tacos! Plus, We were lucky enough to have them come to the brewery every week we performed to serve tacos and they truly made the night with their barbacoa and pastor, plus some of that red sauce (if you can handle it). Placed a to-go order for a taco plate (2 barbacoa and 1 carnitas) and elote. Elote is off the charts good. The barbacoa I believe is brisket not beef cheek. It was very dry and lacked flavor. The carnitas were actually very good and full of flavor. Rice and beans both lacked flavor.
