My daughter is getting married in two weeks and the unaltered suit has made my family nervous. Started looking on Yelp and found a review for Perla's. OMG, what a find!! Her hours are great, service friendly and fast and charges more than fair. I'll never go anywhere else!

I searched for alterations done in my area and came across BA's Alterations. I'm so glad I did. I took the suit to them and asked if they could take some fabric from both sleeves and remove the leather and add fabric. She said yes. They did a great job. I'm impressed. It took a couple of weeks because they seemed to be busy. It was worth the wait. I would recommend this company.

I would NOT recommend this place to anyone, especially for something as important and expensive as…read morea wedding dress. I originally went here based on a recommendation from someone who had also had her wedding dress altered there. Since I was new to the area, I trusted the recommendation and the reviews and felt confident leaving my wedding dress in their hands. I brought my wedding dress in six months before my wedding, giving what I believed was more than enough time to have the alterations completed properly. She pinned the dress and marked everything that needed to be adjusted. Before I left, she gave me a price breakdown and told me to choose a date within the next month to come back and pick up my dress. Looking back, I should have trusted my gut. I questioned why a wedding dress would be finished and returned to me so early, but I trusted that this was someone who did alterations professionally and knew what she was doing. When I returned about a month later, I tried the dress on and everything appeared to look good. I took it home and trusted that the alterations had been done correctly. A few weeks before my wedding, I decided to try my dress on again to make absolutely sure everything fit properly. That is when I noticed the problems. There was fabric coming loose, and there were two large holes in the front of my dress where it had been altered. I immediately started panicking because my wedding was only a couple of weeks away. I had to scramble to find another seamstress who could hopefully fix the damage. When the new seamstress examined my dress, she was completely honest with me about the condition it was in. She was shocked by the way it had been altered and told me that she was concerned the dress could snap at any time in the area where the previous alterations had been done. At that point, I was left sitting here stressed and panicked over my wedding dress just weeks before my wedding, trying to figure out how to fix something I had trusted a professional to take care of six months earlier. A wedding dress is not something you casually hand over to someone. It is an expensive, sentimental piece that you trust a professional to handle with care and expertise. I gave plenty of time for the alterations to be done correctly, and unfortunately, I was left with damage that another seamstress now has to try to repair right before my wedding. I am extremely disappointed with this experience and would strongly recommend that anyone considering this place for wedding dress alterations think twice before trusting them with such an important and expensive garment.
