I don't know the best way for me to put this. My parents had stayed in an apartment in underwood. I have only been here for just about a year. We had a landlord that did not tell anybody he was leaving and when the new owners came in, they were like "what 600 dollar security deposit??" They seriously had no clue and I can't blame them for that. Long story short, there is this neighbor, we will call her "Judy"! Some of these neighbors don't pick up after their dogs and my appointment was the only one out of that whole place that provided a shovel and a 5 gallon bucket to pick up after my dog. Nearly a month ago, "Judy" has taken one of my nieces toy shovels, scooped it up into her bike stroller. My niece was just recently diagnosed with autism and that is the only bike stroller we had, they aren't cheap.. Now back to the major problem. She has been harassing us with writing letters about how each pile of dog crap is such X amount of money. First off, that's not that point of the matter, the main point is she is claiming she is Minot management, she writes that in the notes every week. I would actually LOVE to know if she really does work with y'all, if not, this is fraud, and we do not appreciate this kind of behavior from someone who also rents from these people. Not military friendly. If you are stationed in Minot AFB don't trust these crooks. They will take as much as possible from your initial deposit (which is a full month's rent) . They say they clean carpets but I think it's horse $#!+ cause I went and met neighbors that just moved in and the carpet looked like they didn't do squat. Then they don't send you whatever they left of your deposit until 30 days after you move out. They are straight up crooks that prey on military personnel. DONT RENT FROM THESE @$$holes read more

Beware! The only good thing I can say is they patched the leaky roof in my apartment I rented from them. However, the apt. was dirty when we moved in & I suspect the agents tried to keep us from moving out by not giving correct info to the new agency we switched to after our lease on the place was up. Due to the crazy-tight rental market in Minot, I did go back to them to look for a place years after renting from them. Not surprisingly, one of the condos I viewed had a dead rat on in front of the front door & a pile of trash in back. I couldn't even make something that wacky up!!! Due to extreme luck, I got a place with a better agency & didn't have to go back to using their services. Final word- choices are slim to none in Minot. But if you can look elsewhere, do. read more

Well, I like to do a good deed whenever I can so I will do one here. When I found I was going to have to be here in oil boom country I was a little nervous, as you can imagine. I called around to the different management offices and even saw some 'affordable' but really scary basement apartments (or whatever), and I began to think that I would not be able to afford anything or be able to actually live in the apartments I could afford. But, when I called this office the front desk ladies were really friendly and normal. What I mean is, they were professional and polite. Like old Minot used to be before the boom. They really were helpful and so I went to their office and sure enough, they had a simple little apartment in town that was clean and affordable. Very good business manners, professional and no hidden anything. What a great experience. I can only speak for myself, and these were my experiences. Very happy. When I mentioned the faucet leaked and some other things, they were immediately fixed. In life I think it is important to thank those who do a good job, and so - there it is. read more

Lived at Beaveridge ridge for 2 years. In the 2 years, I've had a share of maintenance issues. Please be prepared to wait for at least a week or 2 for something fairly simple. When you need something like a garbage disposal to be unplugged or your A/C to work , well good luck to you because it would be a lot quicker to drive to Alaska & find a repairman yourself. Living in Northern Meadows Condos managed by 1st Minot Management has not been worth the $1545 a month that I pay in rent for a two bedroom unit. The apartment itself is decent but my experience with upkeep on the property is dismal at best. While it is still a construction zone, there appears to be no concern about making the property as tidy as possible under the circumstances. Trash is frequently strewn about the property (and it can't all be blamed on the wind) and the weeds have been knee high for quite some time. I was told by management that their hands are tied and the owners do not want to spend the time or money on keeping the weeds down because they are (supposedly) going to landscape. Simple care and checking in on the property could make it so much better. It always takes two or three times of contact by phone or email to get management to respond and, unfortunately, it seems that most of the time they only respond once they sense you are angry and fed up. Too bad there is not a lower rating, they deserve it. Watch them, they are snakes on the grass! They (mis)managed a condo for us in Minot. When the tenant moved out they said they cleaned it. There was urine on the toilet. Filth in the sink, nail holes, and carpet was not clean. They sad they repaired stuff, which was a lie. The drain was disconnected in the bathroom. They said they showed the apartment a few times but could not get a renter. Gee, I wonder why? If I could put zero stars I would have!! Unorganized, unprofessional, rude, unintelligent, and the list could go on and on. Before you rent from this place look up reviews!! They care NOTHING about their renters. All they care about is pushing the most expensive properties on you whether they're safe places to live or not. Deb is a A class b ****. She never returns phone calls, only pushes certain properties on you that she wants to rent out, and she will treat you like dirt. If you read reviews people even talk about how she won't even return phone calls for people with mold concerns. She will call you and make plans for you to rent properties then rent them out to other people. She even told us.. and this is quoting Deb (the property manager).. that she could get fired for doing saying this but she wouldn't rent these properties (obviously she would say specific properties) and she wouldn't bother showing them to us even though we were interested. She must know there are all kinds of reviews about the company because she made multiple comments on how reviews "mean nothing" and now we know why. If you want to live in a unsafe place leased by a untrustworthy company you've come to the right place!! Try renting from IRET, IMM, or even Creative Properties!! (Places 1st Minot Management will talk bad about but in reality for 1000x more professional and trustworthy.) Think twice!! read more

I agree BEWARE there is nothing good we can say about this company at all. They raise the rent ALL the time try to blame everything on everybody else never DEB's fault . Don't coordinate when showing the apartment when moving out. And when following company policy under our contract hired a professional Carpet Cleaner they said it was not up to their standards (apparently they are professional carpet cleaner inspectors) and will take it out of our deposit. Brand new apts windows leak, sound proofing not there, smells like mold in the hall ways, The a/c and heating are not evenly distributed through out the apt. The Beaver Ridge Apts are supposed to be some of the best. I give it a 2 out of 10 for the price and I would never recommend anyone renting it from this company. Money Hungry and Impossible to deal with. They get a 0 out of 10. It should be renamed the My Way or Highway mis-management company! read more
