I explained to them that I need to fix the chip so I don't have to go through a claim process with my credit card, because who wants to really go through claim processes? Nobody. He said no problem we can get this fixed for you in the morning before you return it. He came at 7am and sent me before and after photos. The "after photo" he texted me appeared as if there was no more visible chip so I figured mission accomplished. When I got in the car I was shocked. This was not fixed at all and actually looked worse than before because of the drilling he did. (Photos attached) So now I'm going through the claim process that I was trying to avoid and out hard earned dollars that they refused to refund.

I then came across Titan Auto Glass and they were actually able to beat Safelite's pricing; despite being a much smaller operation all while offering the same stipulations and specifications. The tech who came out, Richard, has been doing automotive glass for 20 years, and it comes as no surprise that he aced this job and did so in about 30 minutes flat. Very impressive. I found the staff to be easy to work with, and most communication was done via text message, which I actually find very convenient. Obviously they primarily use aftermarket glass, which in my case was a nonfactor since the factory windshield no longer exists in inventory anywhere. They did say if I ever wanted a factory windshield for one of my other vehicles that I could source it and they would still be able to install it after the fact. Overall it was about as painless of an experience as possible.

This was two days before Thanksgiving 2024 and after a couple weeks went by receiving no communication, I posted a review on Google still no phone calls. I reached out to them YET AGAIN after another week and instead of communicating about my vehicle she wanted to argue about the bad review I left stating they attempted to call me. I printed out my phone logs just to further prove my point that during this entire fiasco they have attempted to call me only once. I sat in their office having a face-to-face conversation with them stating that the cosmetics mean nothing to me I need my vehicle to operate mechanically and safely just as it did before I was hit. Weeks go by and still no word. Once again I call them and I was told was that they completed cosmetic work prior to even looking at the mechanical work and were still waiting to assess the mechanical portion. On what planet would a mechanical shop perform cosmetic work prior to any mechanical work?! What if the car is totaled? I mean, I'm just a mechanic too, What do I know? We have now started a brand new year. It's a week in to 2025 and the last time I have heard about my car was at the beginning of December. If you want your car fixed correctly and in a timely manner, do not bring your car here.. I wouldn't wish this place on my enemies. Lessons learned.

The rude, and arrogant Nissan service manager, Julian Solorzano, told me my regulator was the problem, even though it wasn't mentioned in their service recommendations, and it had been working perfectly when I brought it in. He refused to take responsibility, and I told him, after years of being a loyal customer, I'd be taking my business elsewhere. No wonder they changed the name from "Courtesy Nissan." So, I went back to Auto Glass Now! Dutch and the crew were great! Friendly and professional. I made an appointment, and after a brief wait, I was told that the people who replaced my handle had stripped a threaded insert on the tab that attached the window to the regulator, and it was just loose in there. Dutch said he used a screw with a nut to hold it tight, and it was working as good as new! And they didn't even charge me!! Now THAT'S how to treat a returning customer! I acknowledged my mistake and wasn't expecting special treatment, but the attitude and repeated comments were unnecessary. Customer service matters just as much as the quality of the work. The email I got back asked how much I wanted to spend and asked me to share competitive bids. I told them I don't share competitors pricing. That isn't right or fair. I received the following reply, "Unfortunately, we will have to pass on the opportunity to bid this for you.". This is a very shady business practice and would steer me away from doing business with this company in the future. In addition, this is a franchise from Neighborly and makes me wonder about the business practices they teach across all of their service companies. We do business with Mosquito Joe's which is also a Neighborly company. I'm considering canceling those services.
