I went to the Storm Distillery Thursday evening for their monthly line dance evening. I had such a…read morewonderful time! The ambiance reminds one of an old-time speak-easy, low key but extremely pleasant. The drinks were amazing! The owner makes his own wine and distills his own spirits! The food (which is prepared at the Pine Street Pub) was fantastic, and the line dancing was just plain fun!!! I had wine and an old-fashioned and both were just lovely. For dinner, I had a Waldorf salad and it was very fresh and wonderful. And then there was the line dancing! The instructor, who reviewed every line dance before we performed it, is exceptionally good. She played music beyond the 6 to 7 hour that was advertised for the line dancing. The people who participated were very welcoming and friendly. The whole evening was memorable. Had I not gone for the line dancing, I would not have known about this amazing distillery in downtown Inverness! We are so fortunate to have this wonderful place in Inverness to meet friends, drink, and enjoy good company! I'm so happy that I went!
