Great atmosphere here. Service was pretty good. As to be expected in a crazy place like this. The food was pretty good with a few things that we thought could be better but all in all a sold summer lunch spot. Now we have to paddle back up the river!!!

The reason and pretty much the only reason to visit Swampy's is because of the atmosphere. The best…read morething about Swampy's..you can order a drink and go and sit on the wall and put your feet in the beautiful clear water. Oh wow, what a place we live, it's so amazing! If it's during the day, tube floaters, paddle boarders, and small boats pass by making for some fun entertainment. However, the food and service are really lacking but has been for years. And it really doesn't matter...due to the atmosphere, people will continue to come here no matter what! It's literally that great! If you are at the bar ordering a drink due to the fact you will wait for a table, no matter the time of day...Do not get stung by the huge amount of bees that surround the soda station and the right side of the bar. I understand that the bartenders and servers are busy but service and attitudes are to the extreme! I think that businesses forget to tell their employees...people are PAYING to eat here. Most on vacation and don't want an attitude. But again, due to the atmosphere...most people will overlook the attitudes. Anyway, the food is severely lacking. We are locals and have eaten here many a time. Just remember the prices on the menu are not because the food and service are amazing...it's because of the atmosphere. P.s. please stop serving glass to people who are drinking and heading to the water.

Our waitress was super sweet and explained the different seafood boil flavors really well! I also enjoyed the live music they had. I tried the Lobster Mac and Cheese ($21) which looked nothing like the picture online (LOL) and came out a bit too crispy on top for my liking. It made the sauce dry out a lot. However, it was packed with lobster which was awesome! I also tried the Boil with 1 lb of Snow Crab (MP) and 1/2 lb of Shrimp. We got the flavor with butter and old bay, I forget what they called it. The boil was good but not great - the shrimp was super tough, and I wish there was more flavor all around. My friend's boil also came out cold and after sending it back to be reheated, it was still barely warm. Overall, it was an expensive dinner and I was glad I tried it but unsure that I'll be back.

First, on a not so busy night, live music spilling out from the bar area, and No Hostess was able to seat us. We waited over 5 minutes, before a waitress noticed us and went to get someone. We sat near the music, and he was good, we sang along with the 70's & 80's hits as we waited to be waited on. When we finally got a waitress, she was NEW. It was one of her first nights alone, and though she made some errors, we have faith that she'll be fine with time under her belt. We ordered fried Mushrooms and the Ahi nachos, we were not upset by these appetizers, they were delicious, and their ranch dressing is amazing We ordered a Shrimp platter and a Shrimp noul with the spicy butter sauce. There was a LOT of red pepper, but the hubby said it was tasty, byt he kind of expected the butter to be melted vs still chunky. The shrimp i ate,( lightly fried with Onion Rings and a side salad) were HUGE. I mean plump and Juicy. We did find out that they import their scallops from Japan, while being located in a scalloper's area. They were good, but still, eat local when you can. Other than a bit slow, id say that id come back for those sheimp
