Welcome to Bigfoot Fun Park in Branson--a place where your inner child meets your adult-level fear of heights and your wallet quietly starts sweating. We started with the mini golf, because nothing gets the blood pumping like passive-aggressive putting. The course was glow-in-the-dark, covered in caves, waterfalls, and Bigfoot-themed props. At one point I putted through a log that looked suspiciously like a porta-potty. My ball ricocheted into a fake pond and I pretended that was part of the experience. Then came the main event: the Bigfoot Action Tower. There are two options--either shoot 200 feet in the air like you just stepped on a LEGO, or drop straight down like a terrified ragdoll. We did the drop ride, and I swear time slowed down. I heard colors. I made promises to the universe. And when we landed, I couldn't stop laughing--or maybe crying, it's all a blur. The arcade was next, where we exchanged real dollars for digital tokens and digital tokens for tickets, and then tickets for one (1) glow-in-the-dark rubber chicken. Worth it? Spiritually, yes. We peeked into the Yeti Fun Zone, which is like a jungle gym on caffeine. Kids were leaping off platforms, zipping down slides, and flopping into air bags like little gymnastic possums. I considered joining but remembered I'm at the age where I can injure myself sneezing. To finish the trip, we checked out the 8D theater ride, which included VR goggles, laser guns, and an on-screen Bigfoot in what I can only describe as the weirdest cowboy vs. alien vs. sasquatch scenario ever rendered. All in all, Bigfoot Fun Park is weird, wild, and unexpectedly charming. It's like someone asked, "What if Chuck E. Cheese married a roller coaster and they had a baby raised by Bigfoot?" And honestly? That baby turned out great.

You just have to walk off and let them talk to the air. Miniature golf lady was very nice and fun. Bathrooms are acceptable. Older and could use more attention. Over all great place to go for miniature golf and some unique clothing items and gifts. I think their restaurant is buffet but we just go there for the shopping and miniature golf. They also have a hotel, show, and another building with all things entertainment for the younger crowds. Would get 4 stars but the walk in the door sales people are annoying so giving them a three. I don't know if it was me I would get rid of something hindering business. We would definitely go there more if that little booth of sales people wasn't there or at least say Ok have a nice visit instead of continuing their pitch after you have said no thank you and start walking off.

The attraction is located about in the center of the Landing and is co-located with an arcade. The attraction is a state of the art ride/video shooting game that supposedly incorporates seven dimensions, including wind, sound, and movement. You have to be at least 40 inches tall to ride the ride and cannot weigh more than 350 pounds. There are 3 movies to choose from including Zoombies!, Road Fighters (a Mad Max apocalypse-like game), and Los Banditos (A robot creating mad-scientist). We opted to go with the Los Banditos because it was the most kid friendly from what I was told. The ride seat about 8 and the 4 of us, including my 4-year old, had the ride all to ourselves. We did not have to wait either. The ride is located right outside the mirror maze attraction and you can really get Groupon combo deal on the two. That is what I did. A single ride lasts about 6 minutes and costs $9. There are discounts for two and three rides. I was told that they could not be split up though and the multiple ride package has to be completed by the same rider. Anyway, my kids love this attraction so much that they begged to do a second ride. This is a neat little attraction, but it is not a huge consumer of time, unless you are spending big bucks. I still recommend it, but as a part of a larger itinerary or in conjunction with other events/attractions. There are a bunch of things in Branson Landing that it can be coupled with.
