Was called a "D**khead". Absolutely terrible service. I was having a problem with the DC port in my laptop, which had disconnected on the inside. I found 19 Computing on Google and felt reassured by the reviews. However, when I originally went to drop off the laptop, I asked how long it would take to repair and I was told 3 working days. After 3 working days, I give them a call to see if it had been done, and they told me that they hadn't started it and were going to take 2 more days to look at it. After the two days passed, I was called and told they would need to order in a the piece for my laptop and that it would take a week to get. I was originally told it would take 3 days, which turned into 2 weeks. Then when I finally picked up my laptop, I went to plug it in at home and I'd noticed there was a problem with my laptop which I never had. The battery no longer received charge and unplugging the charger, would cause it to turn off. I went back to the store and explained the issue and the worker told me that it was essentially my problem and that they had nothing to do with it. I find it a little strange that my battery stopped working after I gave it to them, when it was working fine and receiving charge beforehand. I used 19 Computing and the things I liked were I could drop off and pick up my iPad the same day The price was more competitive than similar companies (by quite a lot) The work was done to a really high standard and looked great when it was finished They were based in the local Portsmouth area and were easy to get to with plenty of free parking available The staff were really friendly and helpfulRemoving and re-attaching the screen was done professionally using a hot plate meaning it looked as good as new. I cannot recommend the staff at 19 Computing enough ! They not only do a great job and turn the repair around in a good time scale (my imac was fixed next day) AND at a reasonable price, but the real good thing which is why i recommend them so much is the extra they do. I didn't ask for it, but they cleaned out the inside of the machine, they fully health checked it, made some recommendations for the future (no sales pressure here either, just recommendations at a later date) and also installed a fan utility free of charge to prevent similar problems occuring again. Not only that they demonstrated to me how the fan utility works. Customer service really deserves these 5 stars and already today have recommended them to 2 other people ! read more

Friendly staff who are knowledgable but also speak plain English and explain things well. My laptop had a few problems with it but it turned out most were quick fixes and I was presented with a reasonable bill of £39.95, they could have easily charged me a lot more and I would have been none the wiser.
