So I have been a long time customer of this shop. In fact I have been coming here since they opened nearly 20 years ago. Over the years they have done the exhaust on about 10 vehicles of mine along with about 5 more for family members and countless friends. The facility is always a clean and friendly environment. They have the best prices I have ever had at an exhaust shop along with having excellent workmanship. If you get any work done there and think there is a problem with it they will get it fixed up without any hassle. There is a reason I have driven from Houston , 3 hours 1 way , to have an exhaust system put on a vehicle. I have also waited until I get back in the area when living out of state to get work done. Dan can fix anything! Repaired an aging rusted out exaust system from CT. where the winters eat you car away each year. My vehicle spent the first 8 years in that caustic enviroment. Dan was able to repair it without yanking the whole thing off and starting new. Up north, that would be the recommendation. He was able to get the rusted bolts out of my manifold and reuse multiple parts which were still in good shape! I called ahead got an appointment and a good deal on a new Borla Pr XR muffler for my 2018 Ford F-150! Very satisfied!

Driving down 130 at 85 MPH my car suddenly started making a loud flapping sound. After being stuck on the side of the road for a while I limped it into Lockhart and pulled into the Muffler Shop. Daniel immediately put my car up on the lift, noticed the dust cover was loose, quickly tightened it down and then test drove it with me to make sure that fixed the problem. It did!! Then he refused to take any money for it. Daniel was knowledgeable, professional and most importantly KIND. This is the kind of business that we should all support. read more

You will not find another muffler shop that does as good of work at such great pricing. Daniel is professional and a nice guy as well. He has done exhaust work on several of my vehicles over the years and has never disappointed me. One time I asked for a system with more sound and it turned out to be more than I liked and a week or so later I went back to have the mufflers swapped out for some quieter ones and he did but he wouldn't let me pay him. He was in no way obligated to do that. I chose the louder ones. I will always recommend him and continue to go there. read more

Great place to take your vehicle, I took my Ford F150 it there this past weekend, because Daniel was a very knowledge about what he does, the atmosphere was very homie and inviting; after speaking to many different mechanics in my area, Georgetown tx, all I did feel as If they wanted to slam me and make that quick buck, NOT AT 183 MUFFLER SHOP. Went in thinking the worst. With my luck, I expected to have a major exhaust problem and feared the most being I needed it fixed to pass inspection. Swung by, got the car up on the lift, was nowhere near what I expected. Quick fix, car is nice and quite and back on the road legal status like! Ok i have had sum vehicles and the muffler work done at this shop is quick,and done right the first time on time. All the work is warranty quality! My first vehicle was a 1997 for expedition and it sounded great the tech made inquires into the type of sound i wanted and was looking for, then made suggestions as to the type of muffler and or pipe if need. I must say he knew his stuff nothing was forced or was pushed just to make a sale! In less that 1hr. i had my exhaust system installed and i was back on the road. thnx!! read more
