During my Psychomotor skills evaluation, Pam Stevens was very helpful and decided to take extra time to teach me about the new updates on the NREMT test. I had the privilege of meeting the owner Lisa as well, and she was very polite and well-mannered in the moment even though she was swamped with work she took the time to meet me and have a great conversation. Clarissa was there to comfort me through my fears as well as educate me on breastfeeding, labor positions, and how to write a birth plan. She was willing to go to appointments with me if I was scared and my husband couldn't. I decided to have a natural birth in a birthing center and she was my ROCK! I had a labor of 13 hours pushed for 3 and she didn't leave my side. For some reason the sound of my husbands voice was like nails on a chalk board. I needed the voice of a woman and the comfort of a woman. She was the best coach and support. It was the hardest work I ever did and it made a huge difference to have cheerleader on my side with my best interest at heart. She even made sure I was comfortable after birth and answered any questions I had about breastfeeding and being a new mom. Would highly recommend a doula to attend your birth. Clarissa was amazing!
