This year, Jake's had something new, scanners for the fireworks that instead of showing you the price, which is clearly marked, it shows you what the firework does. That was cool. Not all the inventory had videos, but enough that I bought more than I usually do because I knew it would not be a disappointment when I lit the fountains. They also have a VIP program which was easy to join and I haven't been swamped with emails, texts about specials. It might have something to do with being in OK and our laws.

We got there right when they opened up, we were pretty excited because SFX is not carried by anyone else in Oklahoma. We were greeted but not stalked. After being there a few minutes a woman came out of the building next to the stand and greeted us also. She was very kind and asked me and my husband if it was alright to paint my daughters face, which we allowed and my daughter LOVED! We talked a bit while shopping for fireworks and then she gifted my daughter one of their kid bags and lei necklaces. She asked to take a picture of us for their Facebook page, which we allowed.
