They also have animal feed you can buy for the petting zoo There's a bunch of chickens (and a goat) that will follow you around lol. Right now they do have a baby horse and a baby cow. Which were absolutely adorable (their donkey is extremely vocal lol and ran up to greet us while making tons of noise to make sure we gave him a bunch of attention) The thing that makes me picky about petting zoos, is if the animals look well taken care of and happy. While we were on the trail taking photos and petting the animals we noticed a bunch of workers out checking on the animals and cleaning their enclosures. The animals were extremely friendly, especially the little donkey and the most precious baby horse. The baby stuck by its mom and they both let us pet them All of the horses were happy and friendly Goats were happy and clean Chickens would come right up to you and etc. it wasn't like some others I've been to and have seen signs of neglect It did not even have that petting zoo smell which is unheard of (they have a big handwashing station as well at the end of the petting zoo) When we went and checked in we spoke to the nice lady behind the register and then when we were finished I came back and got a drink and some homemade cookies. They also specialize in mushroom supplements for all your health needs. They sell eggs and other stuff like local honey The lady asked us how we liked the baby horse and made other small talk. She was extremely sweet My cousin and I had a great time. I just wish it would of been cooler

This place has plenty of relaxing seating around a modern pool that is in the backyard of the coffee shop. At the coffee shop, you can purchase fresh herbs grown here at the ranch, and fresh pastries as well. As we walked around, we noticed there were donkeys, goats, chickens, a friendly dog, and more! After I told him what I needed he said go straight to the cashier tell them what you need and they will ring it up. Sure enough I did exactly what he said made my purchase and then followed the road to the back to pick up what I purchased. I wish I would have grabbed his name because he knew what I needed after in told him. Sure beats walking around the store aimlessly!

On Mother's Day my husband took me to the TLC on Memorial to select an orchid. I have 6 orchids in…read moremy home and know how to care of them. The orchid I chose at TLC had a couple of areas on the leaves that looked like cotton. I took it back to the information desk and the women wiped off the white area and told me it would be fine. My husband purchased the orchid for me for $60.00. Unfortunately, the white chalky substance kept coming back. I googled the information and found out it had mealybugs. I followed the directions to clean the area with alcohol. After trying to remove it for two months without success, I took the plant back to TLC today to ask for help. Paul, the manager was at the front door and told me to go to the middle of the store to talk to the woman at the information desk. She determined the mealybugs were in the potting media which is why I could not eliminate them with alcohol. She said she could repot the orchid but there would be a cost. Obviously, the potting media was infected when the orchid was purchased two months ago. I was insulted when told I would have to pay for the repotting process. I spoke with the manager, Paul, and he told me house plants do not have any type of warranty. I learned a lesson today. I will not buy house plants from TLC! I will buy them at a business that carries a warranty for a third of the cost! Susan M Reply to Frank on July 18 Frank, I would appreciate a retraction on your response. The orchid WAS purchased at TLC on May 6! The above story is accurate except for the amount spent ($50 instead of $60). I had not looked up the receipt before coming by TLC yesterday. The reference number on the receipt is 32073802. The total amount spent that day was $122.70. I have 6 very healthy orchids purchased at different locations. The white pot left with the orchid must have been switched while watering. The orchid purchased from Whole Foods is healthy and doing well. Actually, over the years I have never had a problem with an orchid being affected with mealybugs except for the orchid purchased at TLC. One statement you made is correct. This is the first review I have made on YELP because I wanted to let others know that customer service is questionable at your business. I understand policy is policy on the return of houseplants. I was not upset until being told there would be a charge to repot the plant. It didn't make sense for me as the customer, to pay to correct a problem that I wasn't responsible for. It would have cost very little for your employee to offer to repot the plant for free.
