I have been to a number of local cigar joints in my travels. And I've had good experiences for the most part in almost every shop. However, I recently spent some time in my adopted home town of Oklahoma City. It is possible that after Disney Land that Omerta's Cigar Shop is the friendliest place in the world! My plan was to grab a Fuente and enjoy watching CNBC on the big screen TV. I executed my plan to perfection. However, everyone that walked into the shop (everyone!) took the extra effort to introduce themselves and offer me any combination of the following: Girl Scout cookies, a coke or other carbonated beverage, Scotch or Whiskey! An owner (Dwayne?) is one of the big-wigs and sat down next to me. He's a local health care professional and entrepreneur. A really fascinating and generous guy. The shops selection of cigars was sizable but not what I'd call overwhelming. I knew what I wanted but their staff did an excellent job helping others less well versed. A really wonderful experience. If you get a chance to enjoy a cigar anywhere in OKC make the effort to go OKC's Southside (where I grew up) and pay these nice folks a visit! I'll be back soon... read more

This is hands down the best cigar lounge in OKC. I met Joel and Matt, who are like walking cigar encyclopedias, and so friendly and accommodating. They have an excellent selection of brands in the store and talking to Joel, it's obvious they care so much about the customers and work hard to make sure they can their hands on what the customers want and even what the customers didn't know they want. I stopped by Omerta on my way out of OKC but had 3 hours to kill before my flight out of Will Rogers Airport. Got myself a Fuente Hemmingway Short Story and a Herrera Esteli Robusto. I was planning on just smoking the short story and heading back to the airport but I was invited to the member's lounge and was treated to great hospitality by the members and staff. I had such a great and unexpected time that I nearly missed my flight! It probably wouldn't have been the worst thing to happen that day as I could just swing back over to Omerta and pick up where I left off. This place is definitely on my list for places I'll be back to while in OKC for business again!!! read more

I travel throughout the US and whenever I end up somewhere, I try to find a brick-and-mortar place to hang out. I wasn't sure what I would find in OKC. At first, I was going to go to Whiskey but after learning they wouldn't allow cigars, I figured I'd try here, especially since they have a lounge. To my surprise this was the best decision I could make. Dwayne (owner) and the rest of the "regulars" made my visit unbelievably excellent. This is, by far and IMO, the most friendliest and most welcoming place I've been to in the US. The cigar selection is not bad but given how new the place it is, it's pretty good. Add to that, the Liquor store beside where you can buy a bottle to share with whoever is there. So if you're in OKC and are looking for a great place to have a cigar, hang out and feel like you're at home, this is the place to be. read more

A great cigar shop. It opened a few months before I left but I was able to enjoy it while I was there. My family stayed in the area and my wife would go there to get cigars and they were always helpful to her and even gave some freebies. Really the only cigar lounge in OKC that deserves a 5 star review. Very respectable owners and the lounge area (if you spend more than $10) is huge and can easily seat you and your party. There's a few hidden tips once you enter this area but you'll have to go for yourself and talk to the other members to find out what else is "available" to you. One of the best shops I've been to in the city! After visiting several other cigar shops in the okc metro area, this definitely roped the list! Most helpful and down to earth staff in the city! Only thing I would change is the location. Not the best part of town and hard to get to. read more
