Simply the best sausage in Kentucky, it's worth the drive. You would never expect to find such good food at a gas station.

Then said it would cost him too much in shipping to send the m8ssing jar if that was found to be the case so then they would refund the cost of the jar. This makes the cost of each jar for me at over $10 instead of a little over $8, when I paid $18.95 for shipping, original price per jar was under $7. One of the 7 jars I did receive was leaking. Noticed this after I called and basically was told to go screw myself. So I figured calling back would be pointless. Needless to say, I won't be ordering online anymore from them. What happened to customer service? There's no more integrity.

We had never had it before and I kind of hated to commit to three pounds of it, but we went ahead and bought it. Super friendly owner rang us up and we left. Cool thing was, after we got back on the road, we wanted to find a place to eat breakfast. We got off the beaten path and stopped at Crystal's Country Diner in Mount Washington, ( catch my review on this place!! ) where I had the best sausage I have ever had! When the owner came and introduced herself, I couldn't help but ask if they made that sausage in house. She was quick to let us know that it was from Old Delaney's! Needless to say, they will definitely be a stop when we return to Ky!

Prices have sky rocketed and workers don't even know prices they make them up as they go. Suggest JHT market in Lebanon Junction. Gas is higher there than other close store. The hole feeling of place has changed from local family ambiance to more a tense experience. It's not a good sign that one of the share holders that live in Lexington keeps commenting on how good stuff it on food bar like he visits there everyday and lives in Lexington. Just save $$$ and better service in LJ.

Now, if you're from a small rural area, you already know what I'm talking about. When someone says they have a hot bar, you can already bet the food is delicious. These service stations (NOT to be confused with GAS STATIONS) are often cornerstones of communities, owned and operated locally and by people of the community. Boston Mart is no exception. This small town gem is owned by Boston locals as it has been since it's inception. Located on the main road of Boston, just across the street from the Volunteer Fire Dept and the Boston Barbershop, this little service station is the quintessential cornerstone of the Boston community. Serving food 7 days a week (except in slower months where they're closed on Sundays), you can always count on Hamburgers and FRESH fried chicken. You can also count on Liver and Onions every Thursday. All of those are nice, but the real crown jewel is the Mac and Cheese. As an autistic person, cheese and carbs are my lifeblood so I like to think I'm an expert on the matter. They manage to create a creamy, decedent Mac and cheese, perfectly seasoned and smooth that eases any pain. If you're in need of a mental pick me up, stop in and give our friends a try. Boston Mart has my official seal of approval for Homemade Mac and Cheese. If you're in the area or just passing through, it's worth any drive to experience the Boston Mart and small town Americana. Be sure to check their Facebook daily, as they are fantastic about posting what they have for the day! (And my green bean peeps, they season theirs. You're welcome.)
