I am not sure what is going on at PES Solar, but I contacted them on June 2 regarding some…read moremicroinverters that were out. The representative I spoke with said I would need to pay a $249 service fee for them to send someone out and determine the issue. I paid the fee and they scheduled someone to come out the next day. The tech that came out said he was going to put in a warranty claim for four of the microinverters. I called PES Solar on June 4 to confirm the information and was told that the claim was submitted and panels would be sent directly to me. Once I receive them, give them a call and they would send someone out to install them. I called on June 23 to find out when I should expect to receive the panels, and was told that they "pushed" through some update and now it's just two panels that were out. They needed to send a tech out again to try some things on the panels to see if they could get them up and running. Someone would contact me to schedule an appointment. No one called. I called on June 30 and they are closed the whole week for Independence Day. I called three times on July 7 and left two voicemail messages to have someone call back. I didn't receive one. I called July 8 and left a message. My husband also called and left a message. No call back. My husband called yesterday, and now the mailbox is full. I'm not sure what's going on, but this is very irritating. We have two panels that are producing no energy and a provider that doesn't seem to care.

"No problem", I was told, "If you buy from us and later use our roofing company, we will take down and reinstall your panels at no charge!" That assurance made me decide to go through with the $40,000 purchase, but not being a fool, I had the owner, Wendi Miller, sign a contract addendum assuring me they'd honor their word when the time came. A few months ago, needing to replace my roof, I reached out and got a bid from their roofing company. While it was the 2nd highest bid I received, it would've made sense to use them since the panel takedown and reinstall would be about $10,000. However, they refused to honor their contract and only offered a $50 discount per panel which made the price about $8000. Phone calls and emails to Ms. Miller or anyone in management were ignored. No one had the courtesy to even take responsibility for breaching the contract. When I give my word, that's it- you don't even need a contract. This contractor will sign their name on whatever to make a sale and then disregard it to make a buck. Avoid at all costs

I have spent thousands of dollars with them over last several years and she refused to waive trip fee or offer at lower cost because I wasn't inside my 12 months since last work they did (I was at 14 months since last work). Asked to speak to someone higher up and Amanda refused and was rude again. Used to be great but Amanda has a terrible attitude and they are taking advantage of people due to Hurricane. Sad.

I was did business with a local paver company that had an "A" rating with the BBB and it was the worst contractor experience of my life. So I gave them a shot. In all honesty they were the best insulation company that I interviewed. They gave me Free estimate over the phone. When I expressed my concerns about them not being a local company, they drove down (3 hours) to give me some face to face time. I dealt with Shawn and it was a pleasure. He thoroughly explained the process to me and multiple options for payment. No high pressure sales. He was also the team leader that showed up on time to our home to get the job done.. He and his crew were all fantastic. They made what is by nature a very messy job as manageable as possible. They took all necessary precautions and cleaned up after themselves.
