I returned three items of clothing the same day I purchased them after trying them on at home,…read more(they had no dressing room), but after leaving the store and a second look at the refund amount I realized it was short a few dollars. I returned and brought it up to the girl at the front desk who sold the items. After staring at her computer for a good 15 minutes, she told me "I didn't return your tax because tax is not refunded on returned merchandise." When I asked her if she honestly thought customers still pay taxes on items they have returned, she looked frazzled and spent another 10-15 minutes on her computer trying to come up with an answer. When she realized I wasn't going to just walk away and let her keep the tax amount, she said "Ok, I'll refund your tax" as if she's doing me a huge favor and making an exception. But even then she gave no receipt for the returns. When I asked for a receipt, she told me: "We don't give receipts on returned items. They're given only for sold items." I asked if she had a pen and paper. She said yes, and just stared at me. So I said, Can you write on a piece of paper that I returned these items and am due a refund? By this time, visibly fed up with her customer asking for something I should have received without asking, she writes on a Post-It note pad "Items returned 8/22." After my experience, I was surprised to see the additional tax actually refunded on my credit card. I was honestly expecting a few more back & forth discussions that led nowhere. What should have been a simple return became an unnecessarily aggravating experience with someone who clearly needs training and basic common sense, like merchant can't keep the tax charged on returned items, or that a customer needs to be provided proof of return. Just goes to show your employees can cost you much more than you realize. They lost my business for good. I'm new in the area and was looking for a new hairdresser but given my experience, there is zero chance I'll ever step foot in this place again.

She was very receptive to my requests and gave me exactly what I wanted. Alix was realistic with my requests as well and helped me understand the limitations of toning my hair. I have very straight, thick, and coarse Asian hair but she cut my hair in a way that gave it movement. Will definitely come back for more services!

BUT, they don't push you to rebuy all your hair products to Aveda if you can't afford it, which is really nice. They do recommend what you should get to add to your current routine even if you can only get one product. My daughter went here for the first time a few weeks ago for just a hair cut and saw Yvette. My daughter has been dying her hair a lot and is trying to get her natural hair back and healthy. Yvette was able to cut off dead without having to chop all my daughter's hair off AND cut & thin it so that her natural curls can start to come back to life. It's still easier to manage now 3 weeks later. I saw Yvette today to get my hair dyed! Went in with blue only on the underside of my hair and blonde on the top. I asked her if I should do my hair all blue, and she thought yes, so we did! She did a couple extra conditioning treatments to make sure the color really catches, and did an amazing job! I mentioned I had a sensitive scalp, so she was very gentle and made sure she wasn't hurting it at any point during the process. She was very nice and asked if I had a budget to make sure the bleaching and dying wasn't going over my budget, which was great. Since I wanted to buy a product instead, I'll be back to have a haircut done in about a month and then another month later to have my hair color revamped. When I go back to have the color revamped, we'll probably keep the roots so that I won't have to spend as much as I did this first time. Little things like working within a budget is not something I've experienced with all hair stylist, so I am very thankful and love it! She's great at recommending little tips and tricks too so I can try to keep the color as vibrant as I can until I see her again.

Yesterday was my second visit to Champions, my first visit I asked to only take about 3 inches off (some stylists get cut happy) and that's exactly what Lyndsey took off. I knew at that point she listened to what her clients want. So yesterday when I went back for highlight touch up and cut, I asked for 8 inches to be cut off, Lyndsey took the time to explain that cutting off 8 inches and then cutting it in the style I wanted it would be more than 8". This place is amazing in the way in which take the time with their clients to listen to what it is that they want.

I guess I asked too many questions or some thing. In any case, I shouldn't have paid her but I did and I left, and I never went back. That's no way to treat your customers. If you really don't like somebody just tell them that it's not working out and they need to go somewhere else but saying things to and humiliate somebody and chastise them in front of other clients is not a responsible way to run a business

This was my 3rd haircut at this salon. The first 2 haircuts were decent and pretty straightforward…read more This time, I was greeted by a different stylist than I had previously, without any notice that there would be a change. I went with it, not thinking anything the quality would have changed much. The hair wash was fine, but she gave me a wet cut so I didn't notice the way she had cut. She also did a blowout with a curl so I didn't see the blunt, unblended layers. Again, I just asked for a very small trim; a "dusting" of the ends she called it. The stylist proceeded to take chunks out of my hair and shorten the length by 2+ inches at the bottom. The shortest layers are 1 inch above the rest of my hair; not blended. I am very disappointed and embarrassed as this is the worst haircut I have ever received. The haircut is reminiscent of a jellyfish; certainly not what I wanted. It's a good thing I can still pull my hair into a ponytail.
