Yes, you can bring your own wine and NO corkage fee!

Can you bring outside food in for a picky eater?

I would call and speak to the manager to confirm but I'm sure it would be ok as long as you're ordering from the menu.

What COVID precautions does your restaurant have? Do all of your employees wear masks?

We were just there Sunday evening and not all staff wear masks. As best I can tell those in the kitchen were masked and gloved up but more than half of the waitstaff and hostesses are not donning a mask!

Finely diced marinated beets with a thin slice of goat cheese topped with mixed greens and a vinaigrette. This dish tasted so fresh! My husband's only complaint was chasing the tiny beets around the plate (first world problems) I chose to have a cup of their creamy chicken soup. No rice, no potato filler - cream based, fresh chicken mushrooms and carrots danced around my mouth. Topped with Gruyère (I think) each bite was like a rich warm hug from grandma Our entrees arrived in a timely manner - him having the ahi tuna poke bowl. He chose to substitute the rice for mixed greens. He devoured the entree and noted the tuna being sweet for the longer sear - his fault, he forgot to ask for it to be cooked extremely rare or done raw, poke style as it was to be a poke bowl which is typically served raw. I chose the harvest bowl. A base of rice and quinoa topped with Brussel sprouts, beets, greens, goat cheese, and butternut squash. I chose to add grilled shrimp. Holy cow. I felt like all of the vegetables were home grown from the chef's garden. Perfectly roasted and seasoned. An impressive rice/quinoa topped vegetable ratio exceeded all expectations!!!

They have a large portion dessert menu, but we just wanted a small bite to finish our dinner with. If you ask, they can do some mini desserts for you. We tried the mini crème brûlée cheesecake. It is two squares of cheesecake with a bit of whipped cream, raspberry syrup and berries. Perfect size for two if you are quite full but just want a little something sweet. Overall, the service was good. We had to wait a bit for bread, but not a big deal. We enjoyed our night out before Valentine's Day. I still would like to come in for their weekend brunch. Sometime soon.

I would imagine there is a line of experienced people wanting to get a job at c'cake. Wages and Tips are also high. Unfortunately, the result can be a touch of server arrogance or indifference. It's infrequent but it happens once in a while. When it does, simply inform the manager and they will address the circumstances. Remember, they want you to have the high end experience too.

We asked for the manager and we were told the best he could do was a booth and three tables across from the booth! We were seated at around 12 noon. At 12:40 pm we finally got a server to take our drink order! 30 minutes later our drinks arrived and we placed our food orders. Then we waited and waited! When we first arrived there were 2 tables next to us that were vacant, but somewhere after our food order was placed that two tables became occupied! Forty-five minutes after our orders were placed, I notice that those two tables had received their food and were eating it while our group was still waiting! An hour and a half passed and we were still waiting, while both tables next to us were eating their desserts. Finally almost two hours passed and our food orders arrived! The food was cold to luke warm or just incomplete! My order of chicken and biscuit was cold! The parmesan truffle fries that I ordered ended up in my lap when the server tried to hand them to me! My gfs Belgium waffles were missing the fruit, cream and nuts from the order! I returned my chicken and biscuits and received a luke warm replacement in its place. The fries were reordered and came out cold! They also sent out another order of Belgium waffles, but they were cold and still missing some of their condiments! Another member of our party order the egg roll sampler and out of the five samples, two of the rolls were luke warm with the rest being cold and hard! We ask for the manager and he came back with apologies and excuses! No other compensation was offered! My biggest complaint was the fact that we waited 2 hours for your orders to arrive, only to be served cold food all while the clear people in the tables next to ours had their appetizers, their meals, their desserts and their checks while we waited for cold unappetizing food to arrive! There is an outdoor patio, as well as a front dining area where the bar is, and a rear dining area with visibility to the kitchen. The front and rear areas are separated by a glass waterfall sign bearing the restaurant's name. We had an absolute outstanding server named Saige. She was attentive and made great recommendations for us. To start, we had Caesar salads. The presentation of these was unique, having somewhat of a ruffled appearance. For the second course, we tried the sautéed shrimp with Cajun spice and charred bread as well as bacon wrapped scallops with Calabrian tomato jam. Finally, for the third course, we had the hanger steak with blue cheese butter and new potatoes. I love blue cheese, and I really loved it as an addition to this dish. The manager even comes around to check on guests, which is a thoughtful touch that you don't see everywhere. They also have amazing happy hour deals, especially on the oysters. The French fries are fantastic, and the burger is just as good. We've had consistently great experiences and look forward to coming back again.
