The people are very nice, the place is very cozy but nothing fancy, we took the bus from their store in downtown Sydney and were told the whole trip would be 3hours long, it's been 3 hours but we're still at skydiving center which is an hour away from downtown. They're not so organize but the experience is SO WORTH IT. read more
AH! It's hard to give this any less than 5 stars, because the experience of skydiving is just so amazing. Sydney Skydivers did make the whole experience very seamless, though. I booked my skydive ahead of time online, so that was simple enough. I arranged to be picked up by bus from King's Cross - this is one of my few complaints - they didn't quite explain where in King's Cross they'd be picking me up, so it was pretty tricky for a few minutes. FYI, they pick up in front of the Formula 1 Hotel, not by the train station like all of the other buses. When I arrive in Picton, the whole process of signing papers, getting dressed/trained, etc. was very quick & efficient. I was assigned Mick to be my tandem guy. He was totally awesome & funny - very necessary considering how freaked out I was! The skydive itself was the best experience EVER, and they had my video & photos ready within 20 minutes of hitting the ground! Needless to say, highly recommend... I now want to skydive everywhere I go! :-) read more

We did our first skydiving with kids with them. Overall very good experience and friendly staff. I would give 4.5 if it were possible. Only thing I hope they improve is the lounge and the little shop. read more

Skydiving.....! Sounds scary right? It was an experience of a lifetime. We had just heard about Sydney skydivers being a good team so we decided to try them when my uncle and aunt came to visit us. It was a simple job to get the bookings made as it just requires a phone call. When you go to their office you will be asked to fill out the forms and all the medical prerequisites will be checked. They have their own shuttle busses travelling to the location which is near Wollongong which is a free service for all the divers. The divers at the location are very professional as well as friendly. You will have no worries as to what needs to be done next as they continuously guide you through the entire process. They also provide facilities like filming your entire experience or taking over 300 pictures while you enjoy your jump from above the clouds. They have a small cafeteria for sandwiches etc. and several vending machines for snacks or soft drinks. Overall it's a great experience for the adrenaline junkies and also for ones who aren't. Most importantly it is absolutely safe. read more

Divers were so much trained and professional but our experience was so annoying at the reception as no one was taking any responsibility to hand over our diving videos. They kept us waited for one and half hour. When Our diver came back from his second round of diving.,we requested him to give our usb. Finally we got it.Their was no customer service ...Very much disappointed read more

Sydney Skydivers is a very unfriendly and clicky dropzone. As a traveling fun jumper, good luck getting on a load with any of them that call this their home dropzone. The bathrooms are repulsive. Most of the time the toilets do not work and are over flowing with urine and feces or they are backed up with huge amounts of toilet paper. They stink horribly, it's absolutely disgusting. Who knows what kind of diseases are floating around in there. It is not uncommon to see toilet paper and whatever else all over the toilet and on the floor. Most of the sinks do not work and are filthy anyways. It's a pigsty. This is also a very unsafe dropzone. Up to '1000 you are required to wear a set belt while on the load, however this regulation is constantly being broken by fun jumpers AND the STAFF of Sydney Skydivers. I've seen this numerous occasions, even when there is a sign posted right in front of you stating that you must wear your safety belt. The staff do not practice what they preach. I have been on several if not every load where the aeroplane both the Caravan and the XL have been clearly overloaded. This is also breach of regulations and safety. This is precisely how the Fox Glacier aeroplane crashed in New Zealand, which killed 4 tourists and 4 New Zelanders in September 2010. Sydney Skydivers practically hand out licenses without verifying or crosschecking to confirm that the student or jumper meet the requirements. Exit separation is a joke. They still rely on (and teach) the 45 degree angle rule, which is very old school and has been proven that it does not work. I've been on a load where a wingsuit jumper was tracking back up the line of flight. It's a miracle that they did not hit somebody on that load. Good luck when you open and land as far away from everybody else as possible. It's like dodging bullets while under canopy. I've been cut off, had canopies dive down in front of me and seen it happen to others. It's an absolute zoo. If you plan on coming here as a fun jumper, think again. Is it really worth your life jumping with a bunch of wreckless cowboys? Save your money and jump somewhere else or don't jump at all. read more

I did a Tandem Skydive today for the 1st time, 'Fully' was the name of the lovely, funny guy who I had to trust and allow him to take my life into his hands. From the time we arrived, it was fill in the paper work, meet my Tandem buddy -'Fully' - put your suit and harness on,.... and get in the plane - take off..... and then free fall out of the plane, very simple, no stress or nerves, 'Fully' made me feel very relaxed, the experience was mind blowing - absolutely brilliant,...... as we fell though the clouds, my face was very cold from the wind rushing past, and my ears were blocked ...... but that was easy to over come .... for the exhilarating experience. The landing very smooth..... I would do it again any time, and I am no dare - devil,....... roller coaster rides scare me Thank you Fully and team. Colleen Stewart read more

What an incredible experience! Sydney Skydivers accommodated 20 of us easily and provided full transportation to and from and jump site. Everything was quick and efficient and the staff was extremely helpful. Our tandem instructors could not have been friendlier and had us all laughing and smiling up until the jump. The view from the plane was amazing, especially the Blue Mountains and the coast. After the jump, we received hundreds of GoPro pictures and a very well edited video with a fun soundtrack documenting the whole experience. I would definitely recommend Sydney Skydivers to anyone in Sydney, you will remember it for the rest of your life! read more

I did a tandem skydive on 2.2.13 at Picton for my 72nd birthday. I was extremely impressed with the professionalism of the tandem master, Phil who made the experience even better with his calm demeanour and friendly approach. I would, and have recommended to anyone who will listen that they put their fears aside and enjoy a once in a lifetime incredible experience. I am now looking at trying it again but this time from a helicopter! Many thanks to Sydney Skydive and to Phil Maggie Cameron read more
