13cabs driver failed to provide taxi meter for fare, took the entire $500 prepaid cab charge card for a verbally stated $140 over inflated cab ride, verbally use threatening tone with me and then had the audacity to come the next day trespass a private residence to extort money from another family member, using a different taxi meter that did not provide the service. 13cab customer service did not accept responsibilities and just surface apologise. I should have use my regular cab driver instead of 13 cabs, my children are now frighten as this middle eastern man came to our door and ask for more money. There is no Reciept on how much he has already charged the cab charge card and he knows where I live. The driver also did not display his credentials, cleared the meter before arrival, and his whole demeaned is very threatening. I felt extremely unsafe and I felt even worst that 13 cabs refused to take responsibilities and failed their duty of care to their customers, and just told the customers to seek their own method to verify the cab change that their contracts or employee has taken. This is not a safe company and quite possible ran by mobs. I will never be riding a 13cabs again and will write to the public transportation ombudsman to complaint. As a female passenger that has to ride alone I feel sick just thinking about taking another ride in any 13cabs. GOLD COAST ... I want to give them 0. They are terrible. I had lost an item in the cab. Driver reported it as found. I have contacted the company at least five times. Each time they say the driver cannot be contacted because he is working and the like. Ok, so the operator has left a message with said driver to make contact. No contact from this person whatsoever. I have left my mobile, my email and my postal address. What a Mickey Mouse outfit. No proper process in place. The company should be liable for this. I have sent two complaint emails. Again, no reply. What if I was Scott Morrison or someone important. Sure I would get my property back. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. read more

Some of the most horrible customer service I've ever experienced ever. Tried feverishly to recover a lost valuable that was left in one of their cabs. Even pursued the cab in another cab (from a different company). The driver would not respond to calls from dispatch, and the customer service people took days and days to respond. They instructed me to call, which my friend did for me since my phone was the item left in the cab, and after five times trying, finally spoke to someone. We were told that they were unable to reach the cab driver and after a week I was told by email that he couldn't be reached.... but he would probably have turned it into the police? Doubtful. Someone who can't return a call from dispatch is not likely to turn in a lost item to the police. Dishonest, unhelpful, very frustrating. Use at your own risk! Good luck! read more

Called them to get a cab from Lorne to Geelong. Driver was right on time, friendly, and got us where we wanted to go promptly. More reliable that the VT bus which runs infrequently and not at convenient times. read more

Booked a cab for 2pm on a Fri afternoon to go from the inner city to the airport (Abt 40 mins in traffic), Left myself 1.5 hrs for the journey b/c 13CABs had been unreliable before. CAB hadn't arrived 55 mins after booking time, made 4 calls to their nbr, finally got a supervisor who said there were no cabs in the area and hung up on me... Called another co who were there in 5 mins and just got me to my flight, will never use 13CABS again read more

The most unfriendly and arrogant customer service I've ever experienced!!! I will never even consider booking a taxi there again, especially since it took ages to get a taxi, so I missed the train! It's not your customers fault you have to work on a Saturday night!!! read more

A few months ago, my kid brother and I booked a cab to take to the airport. When a cab pulled up in front of my apartment, its number plate did not match the one I received from my conformation text message. So we declined the taxi but the driver, even after looking at my text, insisted it was his cab number and that we should get in. Just after that, another cab pulled up and this one matched the number i received so we got in. The driver from the cab that we declined was furious and shouted obscenities at us and berated me for booking two cabs, even though I only booked one. Terrified, I climbed into the other cab with my brother. The driver of the second cab kindly told us he would report the previous driver for us but we were both still very shaken up. read more

WARNING, warning - this taxi company actually charges an extra start fare ($5.20) if you are going to 2 destinations!! Silvertop taxis does not do this so i would recommend using them. I was going home with a girlfriend from a night out, and used a 13cabs taxi. When my friend got out, he stopped the meter and started it again at an additional base rate of $5.20. I asked him to call his supervisor, as he said it was the way the taxis were programmed and he couldn't do anything about it. So this company will be $5.20 more expensive than Silvertop. My advice would be avoid using 13cabs. read more
