In less than 4 months I'd say I'm 80% healed. I was diagnosed in November 25th and had very little progress from then to February. The only reason I didn't go sooner was being my neurologist claimed acupuncture did not work and said that with Bell's palsy it's just a waiting game. Everyone is also very friendly from the moment you walk in and meet with the receptionist to the moment you leave. It is also very clean and relaxing. On the first day Peini explained everything to me very clearly what is Bell's palsy why and how it happened, and went over the whole process with me along with giving homework, facial exercises and things to avoid. She is also very caring and celebrates your progress with you :) I will definitely continue seeing her even when I'm at 100%

I had suffered from BPPV (a form of vertigo) for 2 months before making my way over to Dr. Matthew…read moreRome at Equilibrium. I found him on Google and that was a godsend. Up until then I had managed by avoiding as best I could activities that triggered my vertigo (a room-spinning sensation). I was able to stop the spinning fairly quickly (within a minute or 2) by changing my head position. And if I ever couldn't stop the spinning, I had medicine (Meclizine) at the ready. Yet, I felt far from well or normal, for the spinning was triggered several times daily anyway: when lying down, bending over, tilting my head back to look up, turning my head too quickly, etc. And there were bad days too, when my head felt very heavy/woozy, and I moved about in slow-motion, or in which my balance was off enough that I'd need to walk with my legs spread wide (drunken-like) for stability and safety. At Matt's clean, bright office, he gave me the BPPV lowdown, went about his work to find the inner ear canals involved and then performed the vestibular therapy of head-positioning treatments. He confirmed more fully my BPPV diagnosis, which it turned out involved inner canals in BOTH ears. Matt communicated & listened very well. He was just the right mix of sensitive to my condition on any given day, yet, like a good trainer, still encouraged me to try to take the extra step up for my own benefit. It was rough at the beginning when I was in my worst shape, moving my head this way and that, but I steadily improved in the course of my treatment (5 visits across several weeks). Today, a month since our last session, I don't have the spnning, I move normally, and I don't avoid activities. After our first session, me (and my crystals ;) were quite shaken up, and it gave me pause to sit in the waiting room with a new unease. But Matt had said I should recover in 30-45 minutes, and very possibly feel better as the day progresses. He was spot on. Each day I did feel better, and the recovery time I needed at our last session was nill. Matt's a delightful individual, as well, with very good bedside manner. I felt very safe in his care, trust him, and will return to him if I have a recurrence in the future.

Now I just want to keep this positive review ALL to myself! But I know that it would not do the universe any good if I did not spread the excellent experience that I received. A few things - cash only and wait times can be long if you do not call in advance to schedule. It is definitely recommended to put yourself in a time slot to secure your spot. But even with walk-ins, people are willing to wait to get their "fix". Dr. Yee is willing to explain what are your underlying reasons for the pain and ailments. He also prefers to continue to work with you in an effort to see through to positive results, but not to a point where you are pressured to come back excessively. I have seen businesses where they try to make you come back for a series of lengthy sessions, and that aint happening with me. So my plan has been maybe a visit once or twice a year (yesss!). At this point, I do not care for a fancy offices with technology enhancements (this place has 0 technology, lol) - because at the end of the day, if the target pain has been treated - then hallelujah! That is all that matters! I have had a series of complaints with all my horrible conditions. Dr. William Yee provides chiropractic care and accupuncture. The muscle groups are observed to make sure nothing was strained, etc. Very very awesome in medical knowledge and exercises are also recommended to increase support. I have a unique perspective when it comes to Chiropractic. If you want to skip to the results I…read morebreak it out below. First, I was a 4 year college football player who saw the benefits of Chiropractic with our team but at the time was unable to afford it as I was already on Financial aid. Years went by (mostly my 20s) and I had changed up my diet and exercise quite a bit since my football days. Lost 100lbs and overall was doing physically well. I reached a point though where what I was doing in my 20's wasn't quite having the same effects so I was looking for something to get me into more peak performance as I need to be for my line of work. Jordan is very selfless and extremely willing to help, educate and work with you to get you to your ideal state which he certainly did with me. I'm sure everyone hears from their friends the negatives to Chiropractic but the best example I can give is think of a garden hose of water. When you crimp it not as much water flows to water the garden. The nerves in your back control a lot of your different body systems so I guess my body was not getting properly "watered". My first stint was more of planting the seeds. Make sure you give yourself at least 2-3 months before you start seeing the benefits and plants grow. If you go out the next day looking for a flower to blossom all gardeners know that they will be disappointed. To be honest I got busy with work and after my first few months took a few month break. This is where I really noticed a difference reverting back to how I felt previously which was not as good as this. Upon coming back consistently the results have been dramatic and more than I ever expected. RESULTS: 1. No allergies for the first time in my life. (Was not expecting this or going for this reason). This was truly the biggest surprise. 2. Fast injury recovery. A few nagging injuries from running and training for half marathons got better MUCH quicker after going for adjustments. Additionally, after the half marathon races I have come back to exercising much quicker than people I ran the races with. 3. Weight loss. My diet has not changed since last year. I have been running more but do find it much, much easier to keep weight off when my diet and exercise are in alignment with the Chiropractic. 4. Hangover Cure: Another benefit I didn't expect. I am human and go to bachelor parties, guys trips or sometimes just have a fun night out on the weekends. Certainly not as intense as college but still can not afford to be "hazy" with my profession so I found getting back in alignment alleviates that day or two of recovery. Really nice side benefit. That said, don't go out and think that gives an excuse to drink all the time...lol. 5. Overall well being: Overall, all systems feel much better and looking forward to doing even more of what Jordan suggests. I will admit I have not been the best with my homework but fortunate to still see the results, clarity, energy and focus all around. OTHER BENEFITS: 1. The office is great. Administrative staff is super accommodating and easy to work with 2. Jordan and everyone there who works on you is very friendly and genuinely interested in what you have going on. 3. Price: They will work with you to find ways to make it affordable. Don't listen to all the negative hype surrounding Chiropractic. Just give it a try for yourself and give yourself enough time to see the flowers in the garden start to bloom. I bet you will be very surprised.

Dr. Lila Wolfe is the sweetest and most amazing chiropractor ever. I never had any serious back…read moreproblems, but I was feeling stiff and misaligned which was annoying in my yoga practise - plus sometimes my back muscles would just get really tight and sore (which I thought was just part of me working out so much, but turns out it was due to misalignment). I knew that my pelvis was tilted forward a bit as various yoga teachers had told me that was the cause of my stiffness. So I felt overly prepared when I walked in into my first exam. Dr. Lila Wolfe listened to me bragging about all my little pains and issues, and then examined me very thoroughly. She immediately found out that the stiffness I was experiencing wasn't due to my muscles not being stretchy enough as I had always thought - it was because my lumbar spine was completely locked, thus not allowing much movement and resulting in my chest & shoulders always making these crackling and popping noises when I stretched (again I thought that was just normal..). Also she found out that my pelvis was not only tilted forward, but also twisted to one side which suddenly explained why I always hold my head to one side (and I thought that was just a little spleen I had).. After hanging out on the super relaxing back-stretch-table-machine that warms up the spine for the adjustments (seriously, this table is SO WONDERFUL!), she adjusted my middle back - CRACK it made and suddenly I felt a rise of energy going through my body. As an avid yoga practitioner I know how much body and emotions go hand in hand, but additionally I learned that because all major nerves run through the spine, basically all inner organs are also connected to a poor posture. After that middle-back crack, she also adjusted my hip and my shoulders/neck and helped to promote the natural curve in my neck - sitting in front of a computer all day and looking down on my phone, my head was hanging down a little and I got headaches on a regular base. Well, that got significantly better through the adjustments! Dr. Lila Wolfe took her time to explain everything in detail and answer all my questions (and believe me, I had a lot of questions!). The best thing though happened in the next few days - my spine suddenly felt all bouncy and wonderful, the stiffness of my spine was gone and I finally could do all the fancy yoga poses I always thought just weren't for me - the unlocking of my middle back sections truly did wonders! Other side effects - I don't feel stiff anymore when I get out of bed in the morning (well, I thought that was just the effect of getting older), I look skinnier (because my hips were tilted forward, my stomach was always pushed out as well - standing up straight suddenly makes me look like a mega babe!), and am so crazily flexible all of a sudden that my yoga teacher is jealous ;) Even though everything feels great even after the first visit, unfortunately the unhealthy habits and muscle memory need a bit more work than that. Of course I continued to sit in front of computers all day, so that I needed more adjustments. If you are looking for a one-time-fix, this might not be for you. However, each time your body get adjusted, it lasts a little bit longer - I've been five times now and feel and act way straighter, are much more flexible, and have learned so much about my body. Additionally, Dr. Lila Wolfe is a super charming person, a great listener, and a fascinating character. Highly recommended to come here!
