The clubs available are rather unlike most schools in the area which offer football/netball, Waterloo offer ballet classes for years one and two, rugby, fencing and basketball. There is excellent pastoral support, which again is well reputed and the school is very active in the community. I don't believe it's one of the "big name" schools of the area, i.e. high profile, but I'm not sure why, it sounds fantastic.

If, like me, the closest you've got to sailing is a past encounter with a canoe on a yr 9 geography trip, then I couldn't recommend this great crash course more. On the Saturday we began by learning simple boat terms (daggerboard, centre board and rudder anyone?) and basic techniques. Returning on the Sunday we learnt more on technique, skills and speed and really got to grips with being out on the lake.. By the end of the two days I'd had a lot of fun and mastered the art of staying afloat. The instructor was great and took time to explain the boat in detail, how to handle it, and now I'm officially allowed to rent a dinghy form the centre. Not bad for two days training and £110 for both days! We went in a group and although there was about 8 of us, we had a lot of one-on-one contact with the instructor and I actually feel like I could take a dinghy out myself and continue practicing. Luckly for us the weather was great and the wind speeds perfect, but I can imagine if the weather's not so good, it would be quite a tough course to do and you'd probably end up very cold and wet. Yet if you do love it as much as we did then you can continue lessons and progress with the Basic Skills Level 2 course where the real training begins. One of the most rewarding weekends I've had in a while and being out on the water certainly brushed the cobwebs away.

This is a local primary school, which has around 240 pupils. It has a nice village feel to it and…read morehas recently improved it's facilities, such as PE equipment, laptop computers, library, extended playground etc. Alot of the money was in part raised by the fundraising society Friends of St.James. The teachers and staff are friendly and it does quite well in the league tables - if you are interested in that type of thing. It has also extended it's working day, offering many after school activities - such as netball, football, rounders, band, multi-games to name a few. There is even an aerobics lesson available before school on one day of the week. It has a school band and offers music lesson, indeed this is one of it's strengths, with the school doing well in local competitions. There is also a Playgroup which is open on the school grounds, which offers before and after school care. By the way, school dinners are healthy and taste great, a credit to the canteen staff. The only drawback is parking is only available on side streets and it can become congested - although the school does encourage children to walk to school.

Please do not give this "company" money! I would like to…read morestart this by saying that my "instructor" did not have his ID displayed, he did not show me that he was a certified instructor, which he should have done. So I booked 10 hours worth of lessons in October 2017, things were going okay, although my instructor cancelled lessons, leaving me without driving for 2 weeks. When my 10m hours was up, I could not book another block of hours, I had to go pay-as-you-go, which was very annoying as it became apparent that my instructor took on more people, leaving no time for me so I was driving very inconsistently. After 15 hours, my instructor started asking me to book my test (this is already shady as you need around 30-40 hours driving before you can comfortably drive on your own!). I booked my test for the 26th of January 2018 and just a week before my test, I found out that my instructor actually wrote down the day before, this didn't bother me much as I just took it as human error, however, what he should have done is given me his instructor reference number as that ensures that he will not be double booked. So I rebooked my test for the 23rd of January 2018, the night before my test, I text him to confirm the details; turns out he wrote down the wrong time this time, after telling me there is nothing he can do unless I can bring my own car to the test (which is stupid enough as I've been driving HIS car and was used to HIS car, anyone who knows anything about cars knows that they're all different and take some getting used to, especially for a new driver!). I had to cancel my test and lose £62. The earliest test date he had available was the 13th of March but he did not have the time to teach me throughout February, how he thought I was going ton pass my test without driving for over a month baffles me! Not only that, whenever I attempted to contact him he would not answer his phone or take 4 days to reply to a text message! I decided the best thing to do was to find a new instructor, after one lesson with him it became apparent that the Surepass instructor did not teach me well enough at all, they cut corners whenever possible and DO NOT teach you how to drive! So now instead of my test being in January, I have to wait until April! Side note: My new driving instructor has another student who has come to him from Surepass as she, like me, paid for 10 hours of lessons, the instructor showed up for the first lesson, and never again and she was unable to get her money back.

I failed my driving test 14!! times in the past with various other driving Instructors throughout the years, but MIchael was able to explain driving manoeuvres in such an easy to understand way, that I got it almost immediately. He got me through my test and I am so grateful. I would recommend MIchael Russell to anyone learning to drive, as he is a brilliant driving instructor and a lovely fella. I took an intensive 10 hour course over 2 days with my test at the end of day 2. And although it was exhausting driving and concentrating for so long, it also meant that everything I'd learnt was fresh n my mind when it came to my test on day 2. Again, many thanks !!!!
