This review is my personal, fact based review of 123 Driving School. It is substantiated with…read moreevidence. 123 Driving School appear to be deleting negative reviews wherever possible regardless of whether the content is truthful or not. To anyone thinking of becoming a driving instructor with this company be VERY aware. You will get broken promises, a complete lack of support and be left hanging with your career and livelihood in the balance. The marketing blurb might all sound good but is a complete contradiction to reality where the "trainer" will suggest you will receive 44 hours of 1:1 tuition for your Part 3 qualification (two hours weekly for 22 weeks). My personal experience was being observed twice in over six months. The feedback you received will not be correct, nor appropriate - even if the "trainer" does turn up and you may well find yourself having to find someone else to make sure you qualify. I know I had to, and I am not the only one. Fortunately, I was saved from the abyss before it was too late and improvements to my instructional techniques were necessary having been left to my own devices for long periods of time. 123 Driving School then refused to comply with my request for personal data to be removed from their website and social media channels, and only did so when instructed to do so by the Information Commissioners Office. Please. Think very carefully before committing to this company. Personally, I would say avoid like the plague, however only you can make that choice, and I would strongly suggest you think very carefully before making any decisions.

I really enjoyed learning to drive and with a friendly, positive instructor I looked forward to each lesson. And with simple techniques I picked up the skills easily and quickly. Also, I felt I passed fairly quickly in less than 3 months. Compared to many of my friends who started at the same time, if not before, and still have not passed! And now I have a car in time for my 30th which is awesome :) So thanks Paul from Natasha Video link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=keu4-gPgzqQ

The other reviewers weren't wrong, Paul is a brilliant instructor! From my first lesson I felt very comfortable with him and he explained everything in detail so that not only did you know what to do but knew why you were doing it. This is part and parcel of Paul teaching you to drive not just to pass your test. Paul made sure that I was a confident driver before I took my test and prepares you for the test by carrying out a mock test, not to check the level you are at and to berate you about what you may have done wrong but to make you aware of what to expect on the day. Thanks to Paul's preparation I was feeling very calm on the day (much to the bemusement of another instructor in the waiting room who advised her pupil was a bag of nerves)and passed my test first time. I am and will recommend him to anyone looking to start lessons.
