I want to start by saying that I've been to Peaceful Warrior multiple times over the past few years…read moreand have always had pleasant experiences. Typically, I've only seen one woman working there, who I believe is the owner. She has always been warm, welcoming, and happy to answer questions. She even helped my mom and me pick out herbs to support my PCOS, which I truly appreciated. Unfortunately, my visit today was not as positive. When I entered, the woman working was friendly, but the energy felt a bit off--something I wouldn't normally hold much weight against on its own. My main concern came at checkout. I came in specifically to purchase oracle decks and found a few decks I liked. One deck, in particular, had a handwritten sticker clearly marked at $17. The other decks had barcodes with prices printed directly on the boxes. When I checked out, the total was much higher than expected, but I was distracted at the register and didn't question it at the moment. Once I got home, I checked my receipt and realized that the deck marked $17 had been rung up as $42. When I checked the box, the price sticker was no longer there. This felt very intentional, especially since I've shopped here many times and know that nearly every item is clearly priced, either with a barcode or a handwritten sticker. The only reason I purchased that particular deck was because it was marked $17. I felt taken advantage of and honestly insulted. I came to this store not only for the products, but also for the sense of sanctuary and positive energy it usually provides. It's really unfortunate, because I've always had positive experiences here and it was even recommended to me by my therapist as part of my spiritual journey. I've enjoyed every purchase I've made in the past. However, this experience was enough to make me decide not to return. I would just encourage others to be mindful of the energy when entering spaces like this and to pay close attention at checkout to ensure items are rung up correctly.

I had come in and made a purchase as I had overheard(eavesdrop) about almond or some other oil being available. I asked a couple of questions about some other issues I had and left after a pleasant purchase and visit. I was beyond surprised when she called me back following up on what we had spoken about. I PROMISE you Apple, LG, GNC or any other of a number of those big name brands will not check on their customers. I appreciate/salute small business owners, especially those that treat their customers with respect and show their appreciation! Thank you!

Very pleasant greeting, however, the gentleman inspecting estate items for wholesale sale was…read moreridiculously elitish and out of touch with reality! His attitude was extremely condescending and my very few items I had him review were appraised at over $40,000. His offer was less than $2000. I do understand wholesale versus retail! I also have bids from others on the exact items for tremendously more. His offering was less than the spot cost of the gold not considering a $23,000 stone alone. I do not recommend that anyone ever go to Friedmans for any services other than perhaps the adjacent gun/pawn/whatever it is shop. They seemingly purchase at virtually cents on the dollar and then resell at very high retail prices. Buyer beware in all cost.

This is one of my must stops when it town because I am always on the look out for deals in Estate Jewelry to pass on to my nieces and nephews. I can only speak on the Estate Jewelry side and they offer some uniques pieces that you will not find in modern craftsmanship. The inventory is ever changing so you are in for a surprise each time you stop through. The staff is courteous and attentive to what you are looking for. Would have taken pics but you must see these items in their natural splendor. Maybe I will have better luck next go around what about you?
