Highly recommend coming here for the Christmas event and will be sure to come back and see the gardens when it's back in season (no snow). Brae Burn also has the perfect mix of golf, and social events, which is perfect for a country club. Not to mention a beautiful pool and tennis facility not far from the clubhouse. The engines themselves are also very cool and quite a bit larger than i expected. I was surprised as well that there was a little section on the second floor which allows you to see the top view of the engines as well as the steeple. It's a popular venue for weddings and other functions, but you're allowed to walk around the grounds from dusk to dawn. My friend has been running here and stopping by to visit sheep and other farm animals so she showed me and our 3 other friends that area. It was so cool! This is the kind of place where you don't feel like you're in Waltham anymore. We saw lots of sheep, some chickens, and a rooster. Apparently there's tours you can go on and a gift shop you can browse in but we only went to the farm animals. :)
