I came in as a brown belt from another state and was immediately welcomed by Oli, Madison, Adam, Stephen, and Bryce. Instead of feeling like "the new person," I felt like family. After training with coaches Fadi, Vinicius, Nate, and Phillipe, I knew I had found my new home.
I tried so many gyms in the area before landing here. I wasn't just looking for a place to train--I was looking for great people, strong leadership, and a positive culture. This gym checks every box.
As a woman in this sport, finding a safe and respectful environment can be challenging. Unfortunately, higher-belt females are sometimes treated like "test dummies," and people roll too aggressively. That is NOT the case here. The teammates I've trained with are technical, controlled, and respectful. They know how to train hard without hurting you, and that says everything about the culture.
Whether you want to train Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, compete at a high level, or just train for fun and fitness, this gym is for you. It's welcoming to beginners, hobbyists, and serious athletes alike. And if anything ever comes up, the head coach takes it seriously and handles it immediately. You're truly supported here.
They also have an amazing program for all ages, making this a great place for individuals and families.
If you're looking for a gym with great instruction, a strong community, and an environment where you'll grow safely and confidently--this is it. I'm proud to call Renzo Gracie's my home.
Highly recommend.
