My wife and I were driving in the early evening around 8 PM and had something begin dragging on the bottom of our car. We were in the middle of a 600 mile trip and not knowing what it was we were obviously looking at an issue at 8 PM at night. We called Eric who was closing up after a long day and he offered to wait for us to drive over. He raised the car and determined it was the engine cover that was dragging. He removed it and advised us that we could drive without it but to get it repaired upon our return. I tried to pay him for staying late and helping us out but he would take no money. It's just the way he is. A class act. And I could tell a very successful person given the amount of business he was doing in there and, as I've read, his reputation in the community. And young. Early 30's building his own successful business. Give his establishment a try.

My daughter was pulled over by the sheriff while she had a debilitating headache so she couldn't drive, and the Sheriff called Felix for a tow. The charges for a 13 mile tow and 1.5 days of storage was $354.71. Storage is $55/day, and a day is a minute or 24 hours. When the calendar changes, they charge you $55. They charged my daughter $165 for 36 hours of storage! I would call this taking advantage of helpless people. It's unethical and ridiculous. I would avoid these people at all costs. They should be ashamed, but I'm sure they're not. Stay away from these larcenists--certainly don't call them for a tow unless you want to be extorted to get your car back.

Not only have i been trusting them to fix my vehicles for over 10 years, but all of the mechanics will take the time to explain anything (and everything) you need to know about what was wrong with your car and why you need to fix it- or why you might be able to wait and fix it in the future. My car [always] tends to have issues at the wrong time in life when pennies are being pinched, but i have always been left with a feeling of comfort knowing that i wont be taken to the cleaners from having to fix something that doesnt need to be fixed, or that im buying random new parts that dont need to be replaced. This place is one of THE most honest and reasonably priced auto shops in town. Im happy to say Im a customer for life. Ive even used their towing service multiple times, and they've always come to my rescue quick, got the job done safely, and got me back on the road in no time (tire change). Their shop is ALWAYS busy, so they must be doing something right AND, imo, doing it well! From the mechanics to receptionists - everyone that makes up J & M are wonderful, hilarious, and just the best people ever! Thank you for everything!
