It's not often that I write reviews, for any place, really, but I think it would be good to go over my experiences here. I have no issues with this place other than the treatment itself. I had my braces done here a few years ago, and I'm still grieving over having done so. In terms of the process itself, things went pretty alright. Nothing much to note here. The only red flag at this point was that when I brought up my concern of the alignment of my teeth not being met properly maybe over a year into wearing the braces, the dentist just told me, "It's never going to be perfect they look good." Which, fair. But it's these little things that you end up noticing when you have to live with the finished product for the rest of your life. I have a gap in between my incisor and premolar on one side that brings my entire smile to the right by a few millimeters. And no, this isn't a product of me not wearing my retainers. The imperfections are built into the thing that keeps my teeth straight. It's a small enough thing, though, so I'll deal. But the end of treatment is what really upsets me. My teeth are permanently pockmarked and rough and uneven because of the careless method in which they took off my braces. I only started to notice them after they had already done the damage, and while the health of my teeth are fine, aesthetically speaking, it really sucks. They even left bits of composite on my molars while taking off enamel on my incisors; isn't that wonderful? Regardless, I haven't been back for a long while, and I don't think I'll ever be back. Not even for a cleaning. And at this point, I wouldn't even trust them to even polish off the damage they did. I hope things have changed since, and I hope nobody has had similar experiences here. read more

She is incredibly resourceful, always so helpful, and truly one of the sweetest people you'll meet. She goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly, and whether you need assistance in English or Spanish, she's the go-to person. Beyond the amazing staff, the office itself is spotless, and the technology is super up-to-date, making every visit efficient and comfortable. I had such a great experience at 101 Dental! I'm always so scared to go to the dentist and when I came everyone was so sweet and helpful. I usually have trouble with anesthesia at the dentist and always thought I was immune to numbing agents. But the doctor knew exactly where to put it and how much and it did the trick! I DIDNT FEEL A THING! There was also an issue with my insurance at first and even in the phone they were so nice and accommodating. The doctor was very informative and answered all my questions nicely. I'm coming back forever!! side note, there's a dry cleaners downstairs I bring my dry cleaning to now! read more

De. Lee's office is centrally located in Koreatown , easily accesible by transit and has parking . I discovered his practice about 3 years ago , and I say discovered because he is really good. His office staff is knowledgeable , polite and kind, Dr. Lee has a state of the art computerized dental equipment tools such as : Panoramic radiography machine , but also a really neat photogrammetry teeth scanner or 3D mouth scanner to make you crowns and implants. No More having to chew on goo to have a mold of your Teeth taken , is all done using a 3D scanner quick and clean. The office is clean and cozy. All procedures are done painless , thorough and fast. I have gotten , two crowns from 101 dental and Dr. Lee does amazing work with a very light hand and is communicative while performing all procedures. The restorations he has done to my teeth are perfect matches to my natural tooth pigmentation. Dr. Lee's relaxed and knowledgeable consultations and collaboration with his staff make my yearly cleaning and consultation an event to look forward to , he takes care of your teeth good. When you schedule your appointment , arrive early and have a cup of tea. And , yes , obviously I recommend you to visit Dr. Lee's 101 Dental and specially if you like photographic imagery technology. read more

Made my first cleaning appointment with 101 Dental at 9 am due to good reviews and because my coworker is a patient here. The business was not open until 9:20 am because the clerk were running late. Doctor was also late. He did apologize, but in an extremely unfriendly tone. It was annoying for them to be inconsiderate of my time. What's even worse is doctor demanded that I take an x-ray as a first time patient and when I wanted to postpone that until the next visit, he was adamant about servicing me. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND HERE AT ALL. Very incompetent clerks and unfriendly/standoffish doctor. read more

Just excellent. Dr. Lee and the rest of the staff, Sara, Hazel, etc. are competent, kind, professional people. They offer excellent dentistry with state-of-the-art equipment in a welcoming environment. Not only is Dr. Lee an extremely competent dentist (he can save the gnarliest tooth lol!), he is a very ethical man. Patients receive a detailed printout of the treatment plan with all costs itemized before treatment begins. Dr. Lee checks to see what your insurance will pay for and then charges you a very reasonable price for the rest. I can't remember when I dealt with a business in Los Angeles that felt this transparent and fair. The staff members are competent, kind, professional people too. I am extremely satisfied with my experience at 101 Dental and would recommend it highly to anyone. If you are looking for a dentist, please give them a call. read more

I've been going to 101 Dental for a year now and so far had a great experience. 101 dental was a life-saver for me as other doctors told me they were unable to help me with my fixing my teeth. However, I was able to find luck when the doctor said he has seen someone with my case and it was successful. Needed to find a dentist around the area and I am glad I chose to come here. I had a regular cleaning done and just had my wisdom teeth taken out. My experience has been nothing but great so far, Dr. Lee and the rest of the staff and very friendly and accommodating.
