Roasted leek with zucchini sauce, roasted black garlic, and pumpkin

AMAZING vegan food! This was an outstanding meal at a great price. Truthfully, presentation and service made me feel like this was a 3 € restaurant or higher (maybe not quite Michelin star) for a very affordable price. I was seated quickly and service was speedy as well! They were explanatory and gave their own recommendation for desserts. I was very pleased. Only reason I rated 4 stars instead of 5- when I arrived, I walked in to 2 girls talking-laughing behind the front counter. They seemed bothered I showed up 90 minutes before closing (plenty of time). I asked if they were still open (only because I was not very busy from what I could see at the front. There were others seated in the back. I could not see). When I asked, one girl says "still open for what?" I replied "dining in?" She then says yes, grabs a menu, and proceeds to seat me. They would have been open another 90 minutes whether I was eating in or ordering take out, so I'm not sure why the questioning and apparent annoyance with my arrival. Nevertheless, I do recommend! Very good food!

Vegan and vegetarian meals and incredible baked goods and 100% organic! Food**** We arrived here for an early lunch after visiting the nearby Pyramid of Cestius (literally across the street, for more info, please see our review on this site). We were greeted by lovely staff who told us that unfortunately the lunch buffet did not start until 12:30. Nevertheless, they still had some croissants, and sandwiches to be served a la carte. We got a sandwich with shredded chik'n on poppy seed toast, a bite-sized seitan burger, and a chocolate chip muffin. We also ordered a Mocha espresso shot. The sandwiches could be served warmed or cold and came in a small bite size or a larger size. The food was very good and had a great combination of savory and acidity. The poppy seed toast was slightly dry when warmed up so may be better cold. The muffin was absolutely delicious and it is hard to get a good soft vegan muffin with adequate sweetness and flavor. The restaurant also offered vegan gelato and I'm sure the buffet is delicious as well, we just didn't have a chance to try it but would definitely return. Service **** The staff was very kind and spoke English well. They also helped us with our choices when we found out we could not do the buffet lunch yet. There is no charge for tap water and the waitress delivered the food to the table. Atmosphere **** Very natural atmosphere with cozy corners. Patrons can choose to sit inside or outside. Bathrooms were also clean. Price$

Lovely spot with some amazing vegan/vegetarian options. Filled my plate for less than €14 Euro... highly recommend.

WOW! Hands down the best vegan meal I've ever had and I'm a Los Angeles, CA native. My husband and…read moreI were looking not just for an anniversary dinner spot but an experience and we certainly got that here. We were confused by the reservation request online because there are only dates and no times but I believe that's because it's such an intimate experience that they only host a small number of guests a night. You ring the doorbell and are greeted by the most friendly staff leading you into a quaint and intimate dinning room. Their super sweet dog Viola was roaming and greeting guests as well. We felt like we were truly invited into an Italian home. Once sat, they brought out welcome glasses of Prosecco. The menu is in Italian so if you don't know what something is don't be afraid to ask. They'll kindly describe the dish. I wish I had taken photos of the food but we were enjoying the dinner so much it skipped our minds. From the first bite we were wowed. The flavors are outstanding! Nothing disappointed. To start we had a kind of soft chickpea meatballs and a broccoli (and I think spinach) tart. As a main dish I had a kind of beef stew with mashed potatoes. Never have I ever tasted something so delicious and resemblance of a light beef stew. My husband had a parmigiano which he also loved. For dessert we shared la torta con le noci (walnut cake). It was lovely and not overly sweet. Flat and more "eggy" than what we'd consider a cake in America. I cannot speak highly enough of the owners. They are so sweet and made our last night in Rome something we'll never forget. My only wish is that we had gone earlier in the week because we certainly would have come back twice! Also, EXTREMELY affordable!

The hospitality and service was so far beyond anything I had experienced during my stay. We were given amazing individual attention, and the place was packed! As we sat down they immediately brought a pitcher of water (unheard of in Italy) and also treated us with some complimentary aperitifs. Already it was a top notch experience. The menu only offers simple, Roman dishes. Everything from the pasta to the sauce is homemade. We split the crostini appetizer, which was a platter of toasted bread with various spreads and toppings. It was great. For our first corse I got the black truffle carbonara, and my friend ordered pasta with onion and red wine sauce (something we hadnt seen at other places.) The pasta was cooked perfectly, and it was clear that it was made in house. We were full, but the pasta was so good we had to see what else the restaurant had to offer, so we split an Osso Bucco with roasted potatoes, again we were glad we did. Very well done, and not fatty. The host, Marcello, was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. He even gave us a bottle of 2007 reserve wine for the price of the house wine, which was amazing in itself. It's clear that he and his wife pride themselves on hospitality, and their service is backed up by the superb traditional food. All in all it came to 80 euro for two bottles of wine, an appetizer, two pastas, a main course, and two limoncellos. Not bad! No matter how far you are from this authentic restaurant, it should not be missed!

Once we took our seats, the waitress was very nice and explained the menu to us plus gave us some good recomondations. The restaurant is definetly worth the way.
