Music, service, food and drinks were amazing. Was my first time here and will definitely return!

MULTIPLE RACIST EXPERIENCES!!!!!!! If I had to honestly rate this establishment it would be a -25. Walked into the establishment at 1:05 pm was told by the hostess that I can just go in and sit where I wanted. So I proceed to sit at an open table set with silverware, pull my laptop out and wait for a server. By 1:30 pm I still had not been greeted by a waitress, given water or a menu. There are 2 active waitress and 4 other working a party in the party room right behind me, everyone has made eye contact with me but no acknowledgement, no give us a second we will be right with you just straight up being ignored. At 1:54 my husband calls me I voice my frustrations, just to paint the picture we were there for our family reunion picnic, we rented the gazebo had lunch, and played multiple rounds of golf. My husband came to the restaurant advised the hostess I never received a menu and no server has come to check on me. I was at the point of blowing up but o was also trying to finish work. Once the hostess was made aware a waitress came gave us menus, after giving her my drink order I had to ask "Is no one working this table or was I being ignored?" Her response was "O we're short staffed and have no runners" In return I stated "well I've been sitting right here for almost an hour and no one has come to serve or even acknowledged I was here" In return she apologized and claimed they just told her we were here. To which I responded "I'm sitting in the dining area where everyone is working and walking around me so how did you not see me" once again just an I'm sorry I didn't know." Which is pure bullshit. I was ignored multiple times because I AM BLACK!!! My family had the same experience when they came the previous Thursday to check the place out. That same day I had cousins come in to the bar sit in the middle and the bar tenders ignored them for 15 minutes before someone stopped them and said "Can we place an order we have been sitting here for a minute now" and the response was " I'm sorry I didn't see you". So now there have been 3 incidents where we were not seen because WE ARE BLACK! This is a restaurant with all Caucasian staff and all the customers were also Caucasian. So we will never be returning as the customer service is TRASH!!!!!!!! And they are RACIST!!!!!!! read more

A friend wanted to have some craft beer while in America so looked this place up because they had many on tap. They have a great selection of craft beers if you like it (can't comment on beer as I do not drink alcohol). My friend had the Elvis juice and enjoyed it. Food wasn't great, but wasn't bad. My friend ordered the burger and it was super burnt on the outside. But said the flavor was there if you got past the burnt parts. Waffle sweet potato fries were cooked a little too long as well. The chickens wings were great wings and they gave me all flats which was a win. I ordered mine plain but some crossing in the kitchen had random spots of bbq sauce all over my plate and some wings. They did discount 5$ off for this. The waitress offered to make them again but we had already been waiting so long for food I said no. The fries were good. I did enjoy the plain cut fries a lot. Staff were very nice but not super tentative. It wasn't crazy busy either. But she was still nice. For a local bar I think it's great especially for the golf the other side. read more

This is the second time I'd been here for a funeral luncheon. Entered west doors, no signage directing us to the other side, down the stairs. No host there to direct us. Room was nice. We were first ones there. Room was set with linen, silverware, and water glasses. Staff started to put pitchers of water on a few tables, then quit. As room started to fill up, people came looking for water at the tables that had it. No one told the group it was cash bar/beverage. People finally figured it out. Staff then put beer/wine menus on table. Meal was buffet. Should have had service from both sides of the table. Bottled up too much. Food was good. Salad nice. Chicken, potatoes good. Green beans too crunchy. In the middle/end of meal time, saw one or two staff taking drink orders. Then after serving the one table, stopped, and began collecting all-ready dined plates! Inconsistent and inattentive service. Should have had staff positioned there in spite of being a buffet! Does this place have a manager there, running things?! Apparently not! I would never have a special event there! A shame, very close to our home. read more

A lively neighborhood bar with a great beer selections, good drinks, and quite decent bar food. We had a great time on Saturday night; service was excellent. I had one of the cocktails listed on the menu - something botanical with elderflower and vodka. Delightful and not too sweet. We ordered buffalo wings and the chicken artichoke egg rolls for apps - both were good, but those egg rolls are really delicious. I'd for sure order those again. I then had the reuben with sweet potato fries, which they're known for, but they're just frozen waffle sweet potato fries served with this odd sweet yogurt dip. I traded that out for ranch and enjoyed them, but I think I'd just get regular fries next time. The reuben was good, but they don't press the corned beef after slow cooking, so it's a little chewy and was a bit difficult to eat. I still managed just fine. My husband's Cuban sandwich was really tasty, and my Dad's burger looked good. Solid food with lots of TVs and some games to play, a really nice private room for groups, good service, I'd return for sure. read more

Great selection of food and drinks! Food wise, they have a little bit of everything and it was good quality. Everyone in our group was satisfied. Personally, I really loved the chicken lettuce wraps. They had good spice and flavor when you add the sauce. The service was great. The server was attentive and quick. Ate lunch there yesterday with a friend and my brother, and all three of us wound up with food poisoning that evening. The mac and cheese, nachos, tacos, and French dip all tasted great according to everyone, but none of us enjoyed the evening, night, and early morning. Positives: - friendly staff who made sure any issues were quickly resolved - incredible chicken wings Not so good: - the chicken lettuce wraps were disappointing. Small portion of way too sweet chicken and a massive amount of lettuce. I didn't even put on any of the sauce that came with them as it was already way too sweet. And there was too much sauce on the chicken. It was almost cloyingly sweet. I will never order that again. - the tall chairs were difficult to sit on when the tables have no bar you can rest your feet on. I went there to trade wings. I saw they were number one in the 2023 Free Press wings challenge. Not overly impressed. I did like the crunchy skin, but wasn't fond of the buffalo flavor. I'll go back to Coaches Corner. However, I really enjoyed their beanless sirloin chili. I thought it had a really good flavor with just enough heat. I sat at the bar and had to chuckle when I asked the bar made for some napkins and she handed me a stack of the little square ones. Simply put, they have bad service, bad food, bad all around. We live right next to here and have sat in an empty restaurant for over an hour waiting for staff to take an order and nobody has come - more than once. On the off chance you do get one, the food has been GARBAGE. Ambiance sucks, service sucks, menu sucks, food sucks, prices sucks. It's heart breaking because it is soooooo close to our house and every single time we give it another chance, it's wash. We're done - don't bother. read more

I'm a pretty simple woman to please. Their cobb salad is delicious. My mom and I go here for this, after a friend introduced us to this place. They also have Kona Big Wave on tap (which no, as a gluten free person I'm not supposed to drink but it's a weakness) so they get extra points in my book. I've honestly never had anything but their cobb salad because of the gluten factor, but the salad is honestly enough for me for whichever meal of the day I land here. A nice outdoor eating space. Honestly I've been here so many times and I just can't complain. From drinks for first dates, to their NYE party to dinner on a Tuesday. Always a great beer selection. All the food I've ever had from here hits the spot! Usually service is on par, sometimes it can be lagging. I love the feel between hole in the wall bar and downtown. Stopped in on Friday night with my husband and got a seat on the patio right away- it was nice to have no wait! Their patio has has been expanded since I was there last (pre-covid). there's lots of high top seating. We got a table over looking the golf course which was nice. The food was delicious. Eat here on a revalue basis, as I think the food has improved. My go tos are grilled chicken wrap with honey mustard, and French dip. Both are great with their sweet potato fries. I've had wings and lettuce wraps, which are also good. I have also been to a wedding here. I would give 5 stars for that, however, bride and groom upgraded menu to filets. Huge sports bar. They have an extensive draft beer selection. Food was standard bar fare but I enjoyed the corned beef (reuben) sandwich with a side of waffle cut sweet potato fries. The fries came with a (honey?) sweetened sour cream dipping sauce which made the fries taste like a yummy dessert. The place is pretty dark. Outside seating. My server was on top of things. We stopped at 1 Under because their website said they had 76 beers on tap. Okay. Let's try it! This restaurant is on a golf course (hence the name). We were there for lunch on a Sunday. It is definitely a sports bar and if we had been there to watch football, it would have been a great spot since there is plenty of seating and TVs all over the place. We sat at the bar. Our bartender was really friendly and attentive. My boyfriend is a craft beer snob and hates it when a restaurant or brewery does not keep their beer menus up to date. Not the case at 1 Under. A nice, simple, easy to update piece of paper with all of their current beers. He was happy to find beer on the menu that he had not tried. We both ate salads. I had the crumbled cobb salad and he had the 1 Under salad. Both were lunch portion and both were enormous. I loved my salad--full of fresh ingredients and the chicken on the salad was delicious. Not dried out and cold like what you would normally find on a cobb salad. My boyfriend loved his salad--the candied walnuts were really good. We definitely enjoyed our lunch. Check it out! read more

This place is so busy, and the staff was amazing. Especially Miller. She and a teammate handled our party of 40+ women on a night with multiple parties going on. Our drinks were timely, checks were accurate, and service was done with a smile. The only down side with this large group was the pizza was not fantastic... it was bland, the sauce needs some zing I think. The salad was perfect. read more

Been here many times but never ordered pizza. Don't order pizza here tasted like cardboard sorry because all other food is good. The pizza was all crust needed to load up with Parmesan cheese to get any flavor. Beer selection is good though and prices are good. read more

1 Under has an excellent selection of craft beers. My friends and I have sat at the bar during our visits and gotten great service. The bartender has been really cool about letting us taste a sample of beer to see if we like it, too. On the food side, we've split a few things including their pretzel sticks and meat lover's pizza. The pizza was excellent, where I'd skip the soft pretzels next time. Food is pretty expensive, with nothing on the menu under $7. if you like craft beer, you've definitely got to stop in on a Wednesday after 8pm. You'll find brews from Founders, B. Nektar, Short's, Wolverine, Alaskan, Dogfish Head, Jolly Pumpkin, Great Lakes, New Belgium and more. Whether I'd stop here outside of happy hour remains to be seen, but until that day, I'll definitely keep rolling in after 8pm on Wednesdays to take advantage of their friendly service and awesome prices. read more

A big change to this place and it is all good. Lots of new outside eating area and a slight redo to the lower dining area. This was the first time we have been there for dinner and it was good. What's next? Celebrating Oberon? Drinking Sam Adams? I don't care. I do what I want. This is my favorite beer and I will hunt it every year for draft versions. But I digress... This place was such a pleasant surprise when i first discovered it. I didn't expect anything more Bud Lites and mozzerella sticks. While they have both, they do have a nice upgrade over typical bar foods and their craft beer choices are fantastic. One of the reasons I'm happy to drive 45 minutes for a 6 oz beer.
