In the UK, we have a bike test (course) called a CBT (Compulsary Basic Training). To ride a low powered scooter, or motorbike on the roads, this is the basic requirement. The only thing about this is you have to renew it every two years, and my CBT was due to be renewed. I had used a company called "Academy's" who were based very close to where I live to get my prior certificates, unfortunately they closed down last year.
I looked online and found 1 stop, who happened to be even closer.
I found them very professional and easy to understand with a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. We spent the first half of the day going through safety, the highway code, bike riding within the compound and then spent the another two hours out on the roads! Everyone who took the course passed and were very happy with our instructor Michael.
I highly recommend them if you want to learn to ride a motorbike; they also provide training for A1, A2, Direct Access, Car, PCV and for LGV driving too. As their name suggests 1 stop for all your driving needs. read more
