It's a no for me. Upon arrival, I was asked to undress and wait on the treatment table for about 10 minutes before the therapist finally came in. The massage itself was decent, but incomplete for a one-hour service. When it was time to turn over, she skipped massaging my feet, hands, and the front of my legs entirely. Most of the focus was only on my back. The facial was also very underwhelming for a one-hour facial. There were no extractions, no explanation of the products or process, and overall it felt very basic and rushed. What really left a bad impression was at checkout. Despite already tipping $10 -- which I felt was generous considering the incomplete service -- the therapist actually tried to pressure me for an additional $10 tip. I only gave it one star because I had to give it something. I went today for an hour massage I waited in the room for 15 minutes finally when the massage started the Therapist kept stepping out , the third time she stepped out. I got dressed and was leaving. How are you supposed to relax the massage when it keeps getting interrupted. She claimed she was the only translator there so she had to keep leaving the room. It wasn't even a half hour and still got charged for a half hour massage. I've gone there friends even gift certificates highly disappointed today. I will never be back. read more

I came in with one friend for a body scrub and a radio frequency lifting facial. The services themselves were decent, but the overall experience had several issues. When we arrived, there was confusion at the front desk about the service I had booked online. It was eventually clarified, but it didn't inspire confidence at the start. The entire spa, including the treatment room, was very cold. We were asked to disrobe in a freezing room, and even the body scrub products felt extremely cold on the skin. For a spa setting, warmth and comfort are essential to relaxation, and this took away from the experience. The body scrub and massage portion were good. However, the facial did not feel like a true radio frequency lifting facial. There were no extractions, and the treatment consisted of a very mild microdermabrasion-like vacuuming, followed by what appeared to be a sheet or paper mask that was activated with water. I'm not sure where the "radio frequency lifting" component came in, as it was not clearly explained or noticeable. Additionally, during my facial, the esthetician took multiple phone calls to book appointments while actively working on me, which felt unprofessional and disrupted the relaxation. At checkout, there was also confusion regarding payment and a $20 booking fee I had already paid online, which had to be located in their system. Overall, the treatments were okay, but the environment and organization need improvement. I wouldn't return. read more

Had the 1 hour couples massage. It was relaxing and the masseuse was professional in massaging the back, leg, head, and face. Ambiance was nice with soothing music and lights. They weren't rushy and took their time. I enjoyed the hot stone massage which gave a cooling sensation afterwards. I hurt my back on the job and I was thinking about going to the chiropractor, but I found this location, went inside and explained my situation. After a deep tissue 45 minute massage, they handed me a bottled water and my back felt amazing. I go back once a week as the place is very clean and the employees are very outgoing. I highly recommend. They have an ATM machine inside (thank God because when I went in there, I was low on cash and I always tip in cash) & I didn't have to run to the bank. Recently I stopped in to see this spa and find out if it would be suitable to refer my treasured patients to. I found what turned out to be the manager extremely friendly, accommadating and helpful. Within a few days I booked a massage not believing that it was only $60 for a full hour and $85 for an hour and a half. Luckily, Shirley, the manager was the one that I was booked with. Quickly I realized that her skilled hands would cause me to extend my session to an hour and a half. I came out refreshed and ready to better serve my valuable patients with the promise I would be back soon. Today I was able to schedule a second massage although time only permitted me an hour long session. At Shirley's suggestion I was tended to by Ms May who had nice strong skilled hands herself. I only wish that I could have stayed an hour and a half because May was able to work out some significant muscular discomfort left of my mid dorsal spine around my left shoulder blade. Extremely disappointed! I used this Groupon as a birthday gift for my spouse and I to enjoy a relaxing massage. When I made the appointment, the manager informed me that I would have to pay $20 tax on top of what I paid. The manager reminded me when we arrived for the appointment. Also, during the massage, the same manager stopped the massage, turned on the lights, and mentioned again that I would have to pay $20. When the massage was done, she asked me to pay for the tax in cash when I tried to use my card and also asked how much were we going to tip the masseuse for the service. This was extremely uncomfortable. After further research, I realized that there is no NYS tax on professional services. However there is a NYC 4.5% tax that should be charged for massages equating to only $4.95. We called the manager back for further clarification, and she mentioned that she doesn't have enough money to pay her workers and doesn't make much from Groupon. She also mentioned that she is waiting for Groupon to remove the promotion. However, she is overcharging her customers so that they essentially pay the full amount! She is using Groupon to lure people in, then overcharging them. THIS IS A SCAM!!! Please beware. The sad part about this is we really enjoyed the massage despite being interrupted, and planned on getting massages monthly at their regular rate. However, with all this being said, we will not be returning to this establishment, and wanted to make sure everyone else is aware. read more
