Super small and tight space, so I try to go when I don't think it's busy. Can use some renovations. Big loads are $7 and smaller $5. On driers you pay .25 for 5 minutes. So about $3 to get a good dry. Only come here when my washer and drier need maintenance. When I asked for change, the young lady asked was I washing clothes. I was taken aback and replied ummm yes why would I ask otherwise? She then replied you just don't know how many people come in here asking for change. This day the energy from those washing here was off so I'm not sure if I'll be back. Bathroom was clean but run down. Glad I didn't see any bugs or roaches as I would have hauled tailed. lol read more

This place is awful. The female owner is rude as can be. She has no respect for her customers. We went in to check our clothes multiple times thinking it hadn't finished because she took our clothes out of the washer and then told me she ain't have time to wait on people?!! I'm sorry but don't touch my clothes. I've been in here multiple times to check on them and if you would've paid attention to that you'd know we were aware our clothes were almost done. Today was the first time I've heard the male owner speak. He's nice and has a good demeanor, but his wife needs to work on her customer service skills. I'm glad after today I never have to come back to this establishment. There was an elderly lady in there who just told me today how awful the wife was and that she had gotten into it with her a few times. I can see why. Going to Laundry Basket next time. I will think it is worth the drive. This place is awful. Does not deserve a star at all!! Sitting my car with my AC running. There's a gentleman sitting under the tree. I am assuming he is an active military. This laundromat mat just moved into a new place. It is the worst. The place is so tiny that the heat permeates like you are in the sauna. There are two benches to sit on. If you a bad back staying in your car crank your AC is the best thing to do. Don't look for any customer service or a friendly smile from the man with glasses. He hates his life and hates you. Will cost you $13 to wash and dry. Had no issues with the functionality, cleaned way better than mine at home. No place to sit or fold. read more

Today was the first time I have visited this place and it will also be the last. The attendant was extremely rude. After my clothes had been in the dryer for 25 minutes they were not even warm. I tried to explain this to her and she said I needed to put more coins in. I asked her to feel the machine herself so she vould see what I was trying to say. She just kept yelling at me to give her some space. She was still masked, so I guess that was the reason. I changed my clothes to a different machine and added mire money, but still my clothes weren't completely dry. The place was freezing with no heat on a day with freezing temperatures. Also, there are only two tiny, old folding tables. Sitting accommodations is a two by four on two posts right by the door. There are posters with rules on the walls and warnings of the penalties...yes. that's the word they used...you will have to pay if you break them. This place is the absolute worst. The washers are trash. I spent $6.25 on the big load washer for my comforter and it didn't come clean. I pressed for hot water to wash my cloths and guess what? It was cold water. I asked the attendant where the hot water was and it was explained that the hot water in inside the washer. I'm going why is it that cold water is being dumped into a hot wash? I didn't press warm wash and the glass stayed ice cold the entire wash. It didn't even get lukewarm. The washer had barely any water in it and when I asked the attendant where was the water it was explained that it was at the bottom of the washer. I'm highly disappointed in the machines and service here. I guess they changed locations because of the bad reviews and service but it doesn't matter as it seems they brought it to the new place. I should have drove to Dumfries and followed my gut feeling. I will say stay away from this place if you want what you pay for. I hope the dryers dry my cloths. They had no complaint forms so I had to let everyone know instead of the manager/owner. I wish I could give them no stars because they deserve it. Update: It turns out the dryers are crap as well. The dryer door kept opening during the drying process and it was pointed out to the attendant on duty. The attendant tried to fix the seal on the dryer and after the attempt to fix it the dryer still came open. The manager was called/texted about the situation and all I wanted was to mover dryers and have my 50 cent credited to the new machine. I will say this the machines reflect management as I was denied to have my clothes switched to a new dryer...wow... 50 cents... to at least and I mean the very least have a customer come back. Wish I could leave 0! Not only is it filthy but the manager/owner is RUDE. They have a coin machine HOWEVER when the machine runs out of quarters it will take your $5 bill and disperse nothing in exchange, then the out of order light will turn on. They REFUSED to give a refund!!! How is this acceptable?! So glad I'm only visiting Stafford, never returning to #1 Laundry!!! I think this place was well out dated, However* is still got the job done and washed my bed covers. The coin machine does not accept 1$ bills.. Only 5 and 10's. There is a girl working who will change your dollar's. No many places to sit. And way to many rules all over the walls. I understand it's a public place,but with all those rules it should at least have updated appliances. read more

I took a queen sized bedspread here to be washed. It was washed and then returned with holes and slits cut into it. I do not think this was done maliciously. I just think their machines are old and not well maintained, which causes damage to laundry. I will definitely not be going back here for any reason. read more

I will take photos and upload soon. I had to visit here when I first moved to the area & didn't have my own washer/dryer. It is safe & clean. They also do wash n fold and that is very busy. I always go early right when they open. All types of people come here but mostly non-English speaking. I definitely would not leave my clothes in the machine and run an errand. The dryers definitely take a looong time to dry. I did see tiny roaches but I think because there is so much water, but it was still yucky. Bathrooms are clean but the attendants don't seem to speak any English, nor do they seem pleasant. They don't greet you or smile. T.V.s are tuned to Spanish only channels and that's pretty annoying. Yes, so this is a nice place to wash your clothes. I am sure on the weekends it can get busy busy. Bring a book/magazine to stay occupied and I don't bring my purse inside with me. Just my coin purse. Parking is plentiful but boy people like to park really close to you! Oh and etiquette in this store is NO laundry bins in the aisles and don't even think of placing your laundry powder on top of the machine!! You will get the hairy eyeball! : ) The owners are Asian and there is always someone in the back room, you just never see them. I went to this laundromat to wash a large comforter since it would not fit in my machine at home. I tried to open one of the machines and the door would not open. There was a sign on the machine that read "Push red button to open door" I did not see a red button anywhere on the machine however there was a button on the handle I kept pushing while trying to turn the handle. The machine would still not open so I figured I had to insert money first before the washer would open. I put in $4.75 and the washer started washing. I went to get the attendant who told me there was nothing she could do since the washer had already started. She went to talk to the manager and came back and told me there were no refunds. I asked to speak to the manager and she said she would not talk to me. I saw her head out the back door and stopped her. She came over and I explained to her what happened and she told me they would not do refunds and was VERY rude. She told me there was nothing wrong with the door. I asked her to show me the red button and she said the paint came off the machine and walked away. I guess when you are the only laundromat in town you can pretty much be as rude as you want to be. There was absolutely NO WAY I was spending another dime in that facility so I purchased a new comforter that I can now fit in my machine! It wasn't the money it was the principal of being treated horrible. If the operating instructions on your machines are incorrect then you should correct them or refund the customers money!
