He sat down with us, explained every aspect of our system, conducted a thorough inspection, and shared practical options--always emphasizing what he would do if it were his own house. What sets Josh apart is his integrity. He doesn't use scare tactics or pressure you into following his recommendations. He's highly knowledgeable, straightforward, and always available to answer questions. If you hire him, be sure to ask about his annual service plan--it's comprehensive and far exceeds what others in the market offer. He came wearing mask and gloves so yay safety! For non business hours the $125 diagnostic fee was reasonable. Business hours price is lower though Easco is available 24/7! Sadly it was a much bigger repair than I anticipated - I'd hoped for capacitor but the compressor had eaten itself. Fortunately because the whole HVAC was replaced in 2016 the part was under warranty. Had to take advantage of their third party financing {thanks Covid 19} which was simple, easy, and has reasonable terms even for less than stellar credit. First tech arrived right on time and started the project while waiting for the second. A third tech arrived who was a trainee and since we homeschool I thought that was fabulous - continuing to make my property an educational center. Work was over and done in about 3.5 hours and HC is blowing super cool once again. Thanks to Melvin, Caleb, and Josh

Proceed With Caution -- Unauthorized Work & Terrible Customer Service…read more Called this company for a simple toilet clog issue at my rental property. Before anything was done, I clearly told them I was the paying authority and needed to approve the cost before any work was performed. Instead, they went ahead and did the work without authorization, then tried charging me an outrageous $230. When I questioned it, I was told they "don't fucking care" and threatened with a lien on my property. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. I understand paying for legitimate work, which is why I still paid $180, but no company should perform work without approval and then bully customers afterward. If there is a trip fee or inspection charge, be upfront about it like every professional business does. Customer service, communication, and professionalism were nonexistent here. I will never use this company again and would strongly recommend others get pricing and written approval terms upfront before dealing with them.

Fast forward about a month and my lights came in unexpectedly early. I contacted Todd at G4 and he was able to come by a few days later. They had 16 foot ladders, which prevented them from having to use scaffolding and made things a lot easier. And lastly, after they left, I discovered that there was a wiring issue because the fan that they installed had a remote that was not working properly. I'm still amazed at how many people in this industry can be so unreliable and continue to get work, which is why I appreciate a company like G4 so much more. A company called Riley's Air Conditioning and Heating came up in the search and I called them. Got a vm that said to text so I did that and I got a reply within minutes. The guy was in conroe at a doctor's appointment but he said when he was done he would come out. Later that day he texted that he was on his way back to Huntsville and asked for my address. This man was extraordinarily professional and had the problem identified and fixed in 20 minutes. Had the part on the van and the price was so reasonable I was actually shocked. This is the best heat and air company I have ever seen. I'm 57 years old and a former building inspector so I've seen a few. Hands down these guys are the best. I will never call anyone else again as long as I live in this area. I had American Home Shield for years and they would charge $100 for service call and it would take a week to get someone out here...... then they would send some quack out that had no clue what they were doing. They would not have the parts needed and I would have to wait another week for them to come back out to fix the problem. I got so frustrated that I cancelled my contract with AHS. This was the first repair I've needed since cancelling my warranty company and I was literally shocked at the speed, professionalism and competence of the man that came out here Friday.
