He responded to my voice mail within the hour. We set up an appointment for the next day. He arrived on time and even gave me a text message to say he was on his way. The first appointment did not yield a solution to the problem with the Frigidaire side by side refrigerator because he could not test the sensors unless the unit had been plugged in for a couple days. When he returned two days later, he tested the sensors and found nothing wrong. This unit has a design flaw that allows water to spill over the "U" shaped fill tube into the ice maker. Once the unit was allowed to thaw, the ice build up went away and so did the noise. He only charged me for one service call. I think Servando is a welcome addition to the appliance repair field and he is my first call from now on. He is honest, knowledgeable, and prompt!

Because they were the company that originally repaired it, I called them first. I completely understand that more than a year has passed and that their warranty may technically be over. I was not demanding a free repair. But when a customer paid over $400 to fix a problem and comes back with the same issue, I would expect at least some accountability and an attempt at customer satisfaction. Instead, I was simply told that it had been more than a year and I would have to pay roughly the same amount again. No discount, no reduced diagnostic fee, no credit toward the previous repair, and no other option was offered. That means I would be close to $800 in repair costs for the same washing machine and the same problem, while a new washer is around $899. That makes absolutely no sense to me. We also have a one year old baby at home, so suddenly being without a working washing machine is already extremely frustrating. Having the company that previously repaired the exact issue show no willingness to work with a returning customer made the experience even worse. I understand warranties have expiration dates. What disappointed me is the complete lack of flexibility or goodwill after an expensive previous repair failed to give me confidence that the problem was actually resolved long term. I told them on the phone that I was unhappy with the service and would be finding another company. Unfortunately, after this experience, I would not use them again.

Scott said he would show up while we were in town and never did and they refused to answer or return any of our calls or messages. I have left at least a dozen messages on the office as well as Scott's. The technician came out and diagnosed the problem but did not have the parts to fix it. He charged me for his callout time and half the cost of the parts. Despite my repeatedly calling (voicemail full), texting (no response) and emailing (no response) he never came out to finish the repair. I had to get the authorized repair company (Kimball Electronics) to come out from Salt Lake City to fix the oven, which they did in one visit.
