I worked with Steve here several times. I reached out and immediately received a response. The first time he came to visit he spent several hours at my place getting to know the history of the town house better and inspecting the place. I tested him many times along the way because I could write an encyclopedia on the subject of mold, water damage, and other indoor toxins. Steve passed the test and then some because his explanations of the whys, hows, and what's were extremely intelligent and on point, yet he explained it in a down to Earth manner anyone could understand. Steve understands more than just mold and water damage inspections. He understands how a buildings structure, materials, air flow, and more create the totality of problems. He used infrared cameras and moisture meters in multiple walls and ceilings in every room. If there was visible mold he called it out and if it was likely to be a problem or cosmetic. He reinforced what another company said and then went above and beyond with the explanations and resolutions. I paid for two samples to be done because I have done other testing multiple times. The worst scammers ever !!! Asked before I hired them to please do a swab test I'm Very sick from mold and he showed up with no swabs only air testing Wich I said in the call that won't work for me but came only did air samples and charged 1500 !!!!!!!! Beware called owner asked for the swab he said they don't do them !! Hmm maybe should have told me that b4 they came . Today a technician cleaning my air ducts told me that the dark staining around one of them was likely black mold. He advised me to call someone immediately. Fortunately, the first person to get back to me was from this company. He was able to re-assure me completely that there was no danger, and nothing that really warranted drastic measures. He also immediately recommended someone local who could perform the required work. I was not only incredibly grateful for his advice but really impressed with his honesty (these guys could have made some money off of me). How do you write review about a man, is dog and amazing company who saved the lives of me and my 2 boys TWICE?!?!?! I first met Jason and Oreo in 2005 when I knew my home had a mold problem (never question a mother's intuition)!!! I was ill through the year; in and out of the hospital with asthma problems. My oldest son was running fevers every week, had pneumonia and I even took him to an infectious disease doctor at CHOP because no one could pin point the cause of his illness. When my 2 week old son got a respiratory infection, I took action. Jason and Oreo came over, took many air and surface samples, and even had a hand held meter to measure the spore count in the carpet. When the results came back, we have 3 levels of toxic black mold in the house. Where to start.... My room mate and I were dwelling in a house that formerly birthed a serious mold issue due to poor construction. The landlord had brought in "professionals" from some highly revered mold outfit, and had spent a fortune heat treating the house, which I was later told is not the correct way to resolve the matter. After the deed was done, they had assured the landlord that mold return was highly doubtful, and recommended an industrial dehumidifier to properly assess and control the humidity in the basement.
