Terrible experience. 1 800-Asphalt did my driveway in June 2023. Just 11months later, cracks began to appear. I contacted the company,and they said they would come by to inspect the issue- but they never showed up. Now another nine months later, the situation has only gotten worse. My driveway is cracking all over, and i haven't received any follow-up or support from them. I strongly advise others to be cautious before Hiring them. read more

We called last week for these guys to come out to give us an estimate. They called a few days later and was rude the whole time I was trying to communicate our needs. All we were simply asking was for them to come out to provide us with a quote. We tried describing our needs as much as we could but it felt like the owner was NOT LISTENING... He was very argumentative with us and eventually hung up on us. We do not recommend this company for reasons of unprofessional conduct over the phone. Rude, mean, and not worth our time. read more

Hired to add a small asphalt ramp into the garage, they got tons of tar splatters on the front of the house; something that is soo easily prevented with 2 whole minutes of masking. I called the owner and he told me "that happens to everybody's house I pave at (as if that makes it ok). If you don't pay, I'll put a lien on the house!" There was also some unnecessary white spray paint on the asphalt that I asked him about. He told me that it's designed to be temporary, then later told me he painted over it with black paint. So.. As the 'temp' paint peels, what's that equally ugly glossy black going to do? Brilliant.. Careless. Horrible customer service. I regret hiring them. Their price was higher than GMG also. read more

The original bid was $2,900 and $2,575 if the next door neighbor had his pad done at the same time. Their bid was about 50% fo others. Final bill was $2,365 (a pleasant surprise). They were very prompt, did a great job and left a clean work area. I was very impressed with how well they treated the 4 year old next door. They chatted with him as if he were an adult and even let him use his toy shovel on some of the gravel (he was "in hog heaven"). They out a small chair where they could keep an eye on him and where he could watch them when they were laying the asphalt. read more

We are selling our house and our realtor requested some bids to fix some issues with our driveway. Our intent was to have it leveled out and sealed. We accepted a bid from this company and a crew came out and started the work. While they were working we read over the bid again and noticed that the wording didn't specify "reseal", it said "overlay skin patching" which we'd originally assumed was the reseal but decided we better check, so we asked the crew if they were sealing it too. They said a different crew did that who would come by later. We were relieved to hear that and waited a couple hours but when noone showed up we called the office and were told that we were on the list for the next sunny day. We then received another call from Jeff who said she was wrong and that was not part of the proposal. My husband told him what the crew said and he was rude, saying "if you read the proposal it doesn't say anything about reseal". My husband asked why the woman he talked to said we were on the list and he said she doesn't know what jobs I have out there and the proposal clearly doesn't specify sealing the driveway. When we asked about when they could do it Jeff said they were booked a few weeks out and it had to be dry. He acted like we were arguing and kept repeating that it wasn't on the proposal and that the woman we talked to didn't know the details and then said here she is, handing the phone over to the woman who explained that she didn't know what the job was for. Our complaint is that Jeff treated us rudely when all we were doing was asking for clarification. He never once apologized for us being told by two different people that we were getting a reseal on the driveway. We went with a different company for the reseal. read more
