However, I did order it without ice since I find that drinks are usually already cold as is and don't need ice, this was a mistake. The flavor was spot on, however it was room temperature, which could have been avoided if I did add ice. The torta that I ordered was of chorizo. There were plenty of toppings and the bread was really nice and fluffy. The chorizo was was actually very oily which did take away from the flavor and made the inside quite mushy and soggy. If you do order a torta, I would suggest getting a different protein than chorizo. I also ordered a tostada de pulpo. I was very thrown off as the seafood and the octopus in it were slightly warm. To my understanding, seafood should be refrigerated and kept cool so it does not go bad so I was slightly concerned as it felt like it had been sitting outside for a while. The flavor was not great either, quite bland like there were no seasonings or preparation from the octopus or the rest of the toppings.

The hotdogs aren't that great but they have them. Mario's usually shows up after 5 or 6 near the Zocalo but they may move around. After 10 pm the line gets long with all the drunk folks needing something to soak up all that mezcal or beer. But don't worry because the cook has his technique down.
