Emilio is an awesome talented photographer…read more I got in touch with him November 2016 and we had our first photoshoot in December 2016 in Hong Kong. My fiancée was pregnant and we had a few ideas in mind. We sent our ideas a month before the session and Emilio knew exactly what we wanted. The day of the photoshoot went by super fast. We were lucky enough to have Kelly assisting Emilio with all the light settings. We were super happy to have test out all our ideas! The photoshoot was so fun that we said that we have to come back to Asia after Cedrick's birth for another session! In January 2018, we took a trip to Taipei, Taiwan. I got in touch again with Emilio asking him if it was possible to have another photoshoot this time in Taipei. Emilio and Kelly were kind enough to fly there for us. Again, we had a blast and Emilio took so many precious shots of our 8 months old Cedrick. The session went by so fast that we decided to have a later dinner together to catch up on life! XD We will be having more sessions with the talented Emilio everytime we travel to Asia! THANK YOU FOR ALL THE FANTASTIC MEMORIES EMILIO! Vu, Linda and Cedrick.

This review is long over due as I have worked with Emilio on a number of projects while in Hong…read moreKong and China: corporate event (6000+ attendees), field charity, as well as shooting behind-the-scenes stills for a documentary film in China. All of these projects vary greatly in terms of scope and requirements, but Emilio brings the same unique artistic way to capture the essence of each moment regardless of the setting. He just has a special way to express each moment through his lenses, from people to sceneries, from action to stillness... I call it the "Emilio eye". On top of his unique gift to capture the essence of each moment beautifully, Emilio also brings an awesomely positive attitude and professionalism that make him a great person to work with. In addition to taking beautiful pictures that tell a story, he is also fun and easy going. This makes Emilio a wonderful photographer and person to work with. I only wished I knew Emilio back when I got married! Lol. Thanks for making me look good Emilio! Keep up the good work!

Thank you Jamie for beautiful photographs of our new family! Our baby was born 1 week late but…read moreJamie was able to accommodate for his late arrival. I really love his style of photography. His is not the "pose and shoot" type as he really captures the essence of/and the moment. You will not be getting your "high school dance" type photos. We opted for the mini photo session. I was a bit nervous - as a new mom, I'm still learning about my baby boy so I didn't know what his mood would be for the photo session. Needless to say, he was crying up a storm! LOL. But within this chaos of screams, when there were patches of quiet moments, Jamie was able to catch some beautiful moments. I didn't mind the occasional "crying" picture - I found it to be real and authentic. I loved it! The session took place in our home. I was also worried about this as my home in HK isn't big. BUT, he was able to use the space and make it work! I'm actually not sure if he has his own studio. But, in any case, I wouldn't want "Studio type" photos anyway. His photos are more like a "story" with warm, fuzzy feelings. Anyway, the session was smooth, Jaime was patient as I was trying to keep my baby calm, and we got great family memories. Thank You Jaime!

In this day of iphone and digital technology, there really isn't much reason to have to go to…read moresomewhere like Fotomax any more- photos are rarely printed out anyways. To think of the last time I actually had to go and run my photos, I think it must have been something 10 or more years ago. Back then even though I had the short lived APS camera, you still needed somewhere/someone to actually print the photos out. With the advent of facbook, iphones and professionals turning to digital cameras, I thought that most of these photo printers would be out of business by now. their numbers have certainly dwindled compared to the old days when they were everywhere and you always had to wait for ages for your photos to be done. I recently had to update my passport and found that there is still a reason for these shops to carry on- passports do not accept digital photographs. I found myself running around like headless chicken for somewhere quick passport photos and I came across this place. They were cheaper than you would get at photo booths and the fact is more care is taken as opposed to the booth where you are your own photographer. To keep up with the times though, they have expanded what they sell here- accecories for digital cameras, service to burn photos and data onto CDs, small electronics on sale at cheap prices. For the time being they may still survive but come the day when digital photos are accepted everywhere I would presume they will die off as well. It is only the enthusiast who print their photos now and I suspect that number will fall eventually as well.
