Lucky for us, we caught the first batch of the day fresh out of the oven one early morning: a warm, comforting bite of goodness. They have a delicate and buttery shortbread crust, just the way I like it. The custard is aromatic, eggy, silky, and perfect! And like the small shop itself, the price is very humble.
