Great experience with this travel agency. Angela, the tour guide is one of the best tour guides I…read morehave encountered in all my years traveling around the world. In particular, on this trip, I traveled from Hong Kong to Guizhou, China. Angela and her team (local tour guide in Guizhou and driver) were amazing from making sure the group were safe, enjoyed the sights, food, and accommodations etc Angela was incredible! She was personable and professional. I truly enjoyed my few days in Guizhou because of her. If tour guides at Wing-On travel are like Angela, I would highly recommend. The package for this trip in particular was reasonable. The only negative encounter I faced on this trip were the Hong Kong express airline counter agents at the Guizhou airport, but that's another story.

They have travel itineraries all over the world as well as for cruises. I'll let you in on a secret... You can purchase discounted Airport Express train tickets here. Round-trip, one-way, you name it. If you purchase tickets at the station, one round trip adult Airport Express ticket (Central station to airport) will cost you HK$180 per ticket. At Hong Thai, one discounted adult round-trip ticket costs HK$140. Once in a while, they'll have a promotion, selling round trip tickets for as low as HK$117 a piece! Stock up!

I am very disappointed with this tour company. On Jan 7, 2015 we booked and put a deposit of…read more$40,000 for a 22 people four day tour to Taiwan. The departure date was to be Feb 25, 2015 during the Chinese New Year Holidays. On Jan 31, 2015 we paid the remaining balance of $58,000 for a total tour price of $98,000 for 22 travellers. I was travelling back from Vancouver, Canada just to join my family for this reunion. On Feb 11 we were informed by EGL Tours that our tour was cancelled because EGL Tours was unable to book airfare tickets. I feel their reason for our tour being cancelled is very weak, inadequate, unprofessional and almost fraudulent. I can understand as a tour company they have the right to cancel tours based on certain reasons such as the tour group not filling because it could not run profitably or that the destination is not safe. However, I feel the reason given by EGL is quite lame: that they were unable to book airline tickets. I feel it has more to do with their incompetency or that they were simply able to sell our booked tickets to a higher bidder because it was during Chinese New year. Their policy is that if they give notice of cancellation within 7 days that they have no other financial obligation. EGL's policy has very little protection for me the consumer who flew back from Vancouver to Hong Kong to join my family on a New Year vacation that was cancelled and ruined by EGL's incompetency and unfair practices.

Even if there are only two seats left in the tour group and that the person selling the tour claims that the tour "will definitely take place" unless some natural disasters happen, by the time you next contact them about some follow up matters right before the tour, they can tell you that the tour is cancelled and that can be because they cannot secure airtickets (!)

When I asked the tour guide what company she was with she lied to me and said she wasn't part of a tour company, despite having just handed out branded materials to the group that cut in line and while still holding the branded materials in front of me. Ridiculous.
