The tuna is definitely high quality and had a nice texture to it. I would definitely recommend ordering it. This isn't a place I would go every day but it's nice to treat yourself to a nice lunch on occasion. They mainly offer deep fried and grilled food. It's actually done quite nicely, the deep fried chicken is crispy, not too oily. Service is efficient and friendly. I'd come back but I highly doubt it because of the bad ventilation. After a 45 minutes lunch my clothes smelled like I have been deep frying for the whole morning. This is a big let down. The place is inexpensive.

Lunch meals ranges usually from 200-400 HKd. On my most recent visit , I got adventurous and opted from their " cooked " food series (as oppose to sashimi which they do well ) . My lunch set consisted of half grilled scallop ( so good ), fried soft shell crab and grilled mackerel rice set . Everything was just so tasty and on point . They definitely have longer lines and far more business in the winter months, so they typically roll out promotions / specials during the summer to attract more business. Their prices are very fair and amazing value for both lunch and dinner - the meat is not overly fatty, not too chewy, and good quality. Apart from the cuts of meat you order directly from the staff, you pick up other vegetables / mushrooms / carbs (udon/ramen/vermicelli/noodles) from the buffet area. For dessert, they also have a soft serve machine along with a slew of toppings. They are very strict on the meal time allocations (90 minutes), regardless of whether the restaurant is full and if there are folks waiting. They aren't pushy though, and just give you your bill 15 minutes prior to the time limit. I have found that if you eat at a consistent pace and don't just talk over the meal, the time is plenty and you'll definitely be full afterwards.

For lunch they have a lot different sets, cooked and raw dishes, you will find all classic Japanese fare. I haven't tried the cooked food yet, but their sashimi is great, really very fresh. Their dinner menu is extensive which sashimi, sushi, cooked dishes, even Teppanyaki. And their wine list is impressive with some rare sake and Japanese whisky. I will definitely come back for dinner. Inexpensive for lunch, good value for money.
