First of all, it's the local's choice. (#1) More people line up for this A21 because it hits many if not most of the popular hoods in Kowloon. It is also only $33HKD each way, payable via the Octopus card. Drivers aren't likely to speak much English, so have it ready upon entrance. There are cameras all throughout the bus. If you think your luggage is going to get stolen, you can always keep your eye on the monitors within the bus. There is also semi-decent WiFi on the bus and most everyone will be on their smartphones within minutes of hitting the road. The ride is smooth and easy and like all things in Hong Kong, the AC is on fleek. I personally like to zone out with these rides, which is a nice departure from the fast paced nature of the city's culture. Of course, this ride isn't for everyone. It's a good 45 minutes pending traffic and sometimes you might end up sharing your seat with some random traveler who may or may not fall asleep on you. First, about 5 minutes before we pulled up to immigration to leave Macau, our bus played a pre-recorded announcement in four different languages that essentially stated that we were supposed to go through immigration in 20 minutes or else the bus was going to leave and we'd have to figure out our own transportation from there. Fast forward to our entire bus full of people speedwalking/running through immigration very stressfully. I literally wanted to have a panic attack but there was no time to so I was having a panic attack while I was speed walking my way through the building. Barely had time to get through immigration, go to the bathroom, and make it on the bus Same situation when we were crossing customs to get into Hong Kong. Even worse because you have to fill out a form before walking up to the window and the line for the visitors side was very, very full. Luckily we made it through with like 2 minutes to spare but imagine having to go through this experience when neither Cantonese, Mandarin, or English are any of your main languages Lastly, when we got on the bus after getting through customs, the bus luckily waited maybe 5 more minutes because a whole family of like 8 people would've been left behind. At that point the bus driver started yelling at his coworkers in Cantonese that we should leave because no one else was coming when he literally did not see the length of that line inside. As I'm writing this review, I still have no idea if our bus pulled away from that location having left people behind Honestly, you are better off using public transportation and taking a ferry for a more peaceful experience. Okay, one more HK review as an encore…read more Long Win is a bus company that offers bus service to Hong Kong International Airport. Their buses are double decker so there are two floors of seating. On the lower floor, there is a compartment to place your luggage. Though it can be problematic since usually the lower compartments are full and the only space available is on top. Be careful not to hurt yourself lifting the luggage to fit the space. I took the A41P from HKIA to Ma On Shan. The cost, HK$27.70 which can be paid by cash or Octopus Card is cheap for the long distance. If you took a taxi, the cost would be about 10 times that price which includes paying a couple tolls along the way. The journey is about 45-50 minutes. The buses are comfortable and air conditioned fortunately. It is nice to take this bus to get a nice glimpse of the Hong Kong skyline. On the trek back to HKIA, do make sure to read the timetable carefully. The one at Chevalier Garden lists the time that the bus leaves its first stop, so you will need to estimate how long it takes to get to your particular stop. I would take a Long Win bus again if I was heading to a location that they serve. The buses are pleasant and the extra time is not too much when comparing it to taking a taxi. It may take a little longer, but the cost savings are substantial.

In fact, one of its stops is two minutes walking from home which means: 0 minutes baggage up or down MTR stairs and 5 minutes ride to Hong Kong station. The whole service is just worth a full review. The free shuttle bus is a complimentary service for Airport Express passengers (although I never showed any proof other than my suitcase to the driver). I've taken this bus to and from the airport and the service has always been reliable, on time, quick and yeah, free. Not that a ride to Hong Kong station from Wan Chai is worth a ton, but hey! who doesn't love free? The buses run from 6:12 in the morning to 23:12, every 20 minutes and the pick up points are located at main hotels. I normally take line H1 that goes through Central and Wan Chai (Shangri-La, Conrad, Pacific Place, Marriott, Empire, Wharney Guang Dong Hotel and Novotel Century) but you may want to take H2 if going further to Causeway Bay. For Kowloon passengers, there are yet 5 different lines covering the whole area. If you're taking the free shuttle from Hong Kong station, the platforms are located on the left hand side as you come out of the train. There's a small waiting area per bus line and the time remaining is set up on the screens. Yesterday, my friend and I got to Hong Kong station at around 21.30 and waited for the bus for 10 minutes. As it was a Tuesday night, we were the only passengers and even though the driver stopped at the duly pick up points, we got to Novotel Century in less than 15 minutes. On time to grab some food at the supermarket for today's breakfast!
