This is the branch of a ramen shop. The original is in a more remote location (I've never been), so this one is actually in a decent location, on a less crowded side street in Mong Kok. It is not in an area that anyone would usually walk by unless they come around here a lot, and I was only there because a friend told me about it.
They have a menu that is full of trendy terms like "prawn broth", "truffles", "collagen" and the like. I love ramen, trendy or not, although I'm a bit wary of trendy ingredients because those ones tend to look better than they taste.
That is exactly my thoughts after having the ramen here. I got the ramen with prawns. The prawns was not especially good or flavourful, and the broth was just so-so. The noodles were not bad, but not nearly chewy enough.
This place is very popular, judging by all the people coming in despite the location. I just don't know if it's all that. read more
