The area is not extremely handicap friendly, so knowing that may help your travels. Tai Kwun is on top of the hill so it is steep as you walk down back to Central MTR Station. I got to visit all of the buildings on a self-guided tour and discovered that one of the prison cells housed Vietnamese revolutionary Ho Chi Minh amongst other historical inmates. My husband wanted to explore the rich law enforcement history of the former Central Police Station, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. The site is huge and exceptionally well laid out. We started at the Parade Ground & Barrack Block, a beautiful, wide-open courtyard flanked by classic colonial-era brick buildings. Walking through the Victoria Prison cell blocks with history dating all the way back to 1841, it offered an immersive and fascinating look at Hong Kong's early penal system. As an extra treat, we got a chance to see the Ora-Ora Shop: Summer Pop-up! at Galerie Ora-Ora (Shop 03-105-107, Barrack Block). It was the perfect blend of historic architecture and contemporary art. If you love history, art, or just a cool space to explore away from the hectic city streets, do not miss this absolute gem.

The mall has 7 floors, 5 above ground and 2 below. It is not like a regular, boring mall. It mixes shopping with cool stuff everywhere. The stores are perfect for younger people. We saw a lot of local streetwear, cool pop-up markets, and unique designer clothes. They even have a Pop Mart store inside, which we loved! With a newborn in my life, I foresee keeping this place afloat by printing numerous photos of my little booger. Second, you can print passport and visa photos here. They can also take them for you, too. They're very familiar with the dimensions for HK, US, Canada, Australia, and other European ID photos. Staff are curt but they can quickly navigate the photo machines so you can send in your orders via your USB or whatever device you have. Typical wait is 30 minutes.

This is a lengthy yet truthful review: I sent them a message to get a quote for family pictures. They responded very fast. Although they first told me they were fully booked, they were able to squeeze me in at the last minute. Before I confirmed my appointment with them, they sounded very flexible and understanding which made me feel valued. Since I don't live in Hong Kong, I wasn't able to put down a photography deposit. They had no problem with it. They also told me if I wasn't satisfied with the photos, they could just give me the entire set. After my photo session, I selected 18 pictures out of a 1000+ while I was still in the studio. I paid them for my package which just consisted 10 pictures and the extra 8 photos. On the day of photography, they told me it would take a week for my final pictures. They LIED! I waited for a month to get my final pictures. The employees there also lacked communication. In the beginning, they were not aware that I already selected my photos while I was still in the studio. Instead, they emailed me 300+ fine-tune pictures with the company logo/ watermark on them. Okay, I was thinking since they already sent me hundreds of photos, I would take my time to select 18 photos again. 2 photos were different from what I originally selected on the day of photography. I asked them to change to those 2 new ones but they refused. So there you go. Once you hire them and they get your money, they won't be as responsive and flexible as they originally present to you. They told me it's their company policy and they cannot switch pictures for me. When they want to earn your business, they are flexible enough not to get your deposit. When you ask them for some changes, then they start to bring up "company policy" in order not to fulfill your request. The bottom line is they don't care about after-sales customer support and service. Once you give them money, it will take them a long time to reply you or may not reply at all. If your request doesn't work out in their favor, they will ignore you. They really don't care if you aren't satisfied with your photos. Please save yourself time, money, and headaches. Please do yourself a favor and find yourself another photographer who values customer service and wants return customers. If you still decide to hire them, I hope your experience won't be as painful as mine.

As a photographer I need to know where to buy the best products for the cheapest prices around the city. When it comes to CPPS I'll go here to have a look at some of its second hand cameras or accessories. They are not the cheapest around but the shop is conveniently located and the prices competitive enough. CPPS is a store to go to if you've recently picked up a camera and want to try your hand in hobby photography. The majority of what they offer are your typical point and shoot cameras, that's not to say they don't provide other products. Some DSLRs, GoPros, flashes, to name a few. They also have a film developing service for any film users out there. The staff working behind the counters and extremely friendly, knowledgeable and great at English. They'll show you around the place and even give you their opinions on which Selfie Stick suits which smart phone best!

I brought my cousins along and was able to use the senior and kids line for ticketing. As a visitor, with proper documentation, you can get in for $10 to check out the book fair. I highly recommend checking out the different fairs and conventions - they will most likely take up a full day.
