    Sheung Wan, Hong Kong Island

I might be a little impartial when it comes to One Pacific Heights…read more My husband and I rented an apartment for 2.5 years at One Pacific Heights. It is an apartment...walls, a kitchen, a bathroom, windows...you get the picture. The apartment, although newer because is was built around 2010, is just like any other apartment you might rent in the area of Sheung Wan or Hong Kong. One Pacific Heights is a 5 star Yelp in my opinion though because of the service we received from the staff from the moment we moved in to the day we moved out. Gilbert, Henry, Tommy and the entire team really are what made our experience at One Pacific Heights exceptional. They were quick to address and assist us with any issue we had with our apartment. From A/C issues to making sure our dry cleaning found us, the staff at One Pacific Heights treated us with professionalism, courtesy and care. They made us feel like family. Not everyone on the staff speaks English, but that did not diminish the hospitality or service we received. The apartments themselves are quite nice. Newer, Miele kitchens with clothes washer, lots of light, balconies and only four apartments on each of the 50 floors in the building. Swimming pool and workout facility as well. The building itself is very close to a local dai pai dong, the MTR, the Fusion grocery, dry cleaners and more of the local feel of the famous Hong Kong spice district. Although there are many expats in the building from all over the globe, the building is settled into a very local neighborhood and it always felt more like a true Hong Kong experience to me (maybe versus living amongst a bunch of Americans in the mid levels, as many people do). The apartment was good, but the service from the staff is exceptional. This was why we would recommend One Pacific Heights to anyone looking for a new home

Hong Kong, a city of sky high buildings with sky high rents. If you're gonna spend half your…read morepaycheck on a place, why not get something NOT old and cockroach infested or waaaay out in New Territories. Dash Suites is telling you: THERE ARE OPTIONS. Room: First, kick your North American expectations out the door. With 7 million people in 1,104 km sq, you will likely live in a micro-flat. My Dash Standard room was 180 sqft. Despite the size, I fell in love so hard with this room. It was bright, it was clean, and it was located in the most convenient of locations. The building was older, but the room was newly renovated and the security guards downstairs are the nicest people in the world. Sure, it's small, but for a single occupant, it was perfectly cozy. Again, this is just for my flat. There are options to pay more and get bigger rooms The toilet wasn't in the shower, which wasn't next to my bed (there are a LOT of flats like this, don't be surprised). The bathroom itself was fantastically equipped with a rain shower head and like most apartments, the hot water has to be turned on and off. No, you don't have a kitchen, but you get a hot plate, a pot, and a boiler. The AC is new and high-tech. The bed reminded me of the fanciest of hotels and I still think it's one of the most comfortable beds/duvets I've ever slept in. This place definitely became my home and I could not have asked for anything better. Amenities: It's a serviced apartment so of course, you get your Wi-Fi but you also get weekly hotel style housekeeping, a very large TV with Apple TV/Now TV, and A GYM PASS. As an avid gym goer, the pass sold me, especially since gyms are crazy expensive to join in HK. Service: The people that work at Dash are lovely. They're polite and most importantly, responsive. They are available almost 24/7 and you are encouraged to directly message them through Whatsapp. They help you in with moving in, moving out (arranged for someone to help me carry a large box to the post office), and everything in between. In 6 months living here, the only issue I had was a very tiny bug problem one night; someone came in and sprayed the entire room the next day. Literally can't complain. Even after I finished living there, they still answered my questions promptly. Location: I stayed in the Causeway Bay location. The subway entrance was literally next door and I was dropped in the middle of consumer heaven. The amazing Sogo department store was my neighbour, and I was 5 minutes away from Hysan Place, Times Square, and all the convenience I can hope for. A 24 hour Wellcome was down the street. Yet despite all that hustle and bustle, it was always quiet in my room. Price: For Hong Kong, and in CWB, of all places, this place was a steal. I got in at a special promoted price that never increased over my time there. Typically the rent is from HKD 15,000 to 20,000/month which is in line with other serviced apartments I've researched. If you are planning to stay in HK for a month or more, I absolutely recommend Dash Suites. They have not only made it an easy experience to live and work here, but an incredibly enjoyable one. I can't believe I'd ever fall in love with a 180 sqft micro-flat, and now, I actually MISS it. A tear may or may not have been shed on the day I had to leave. Thank you so much to the entire Dash team! (74/100) - 2017

    Causeway Bay, Hong Kong Island

A lucky friend of mine lives here and I can only say good things about these service appartments…read more They are located in the heart of Causeway Bay and you may think they're noisy. Well, they aren't - they are completely isolated and you would never know you're actually there unless you open the window and look out. Even the entrance to the building is distinctive, decorated with green leaves, as well as the interior design. However, the number of the building is not signaled outside (on purpose?). There is music on when you get to the entrance hall and since then, you feel a lot relaxed! To come up the apartments you need a key so if you don't live there somebody will have to come down and pick you up, which is a bit of a hassle. There's no problem coming down. The flats are big, spacious, decorated in white - there've got plenty of storage room, a fairly big kitchen and nice furniture. There's cleaning service every day and for laundry there's a specific room devoted to washing machines where you don't even need to buy powder, everything is provided. There's a reading room with a coffee machine where you can chill out and look at busy Causeway Bay...and close to it there's a small gym. The best part is possibly the terrace: two separate areas where one can even bring up food as one of them even has a bar. This is just a great place. Two cons: it's very expensive and...let me complain that there isn't a pool!

I stayed here for one year and I thought it was a quite good apartment, until I found out they have…read morereally unreasonable deposit refund policy. The contract says they would refund my security deposit within one month after the contract expires. I thought that one month was just maximum and that they would probably refund within a week or two. Boy, was I wrong! It took them not only FULL ONE MONTH, but also they haven't even paid me AFTER 35 DAYS SINCE MY LEASE EXPIRED. U$8,000 is a lot of money and I haven't received it yet 35 days after I moved out! How long does it take to figure out how much I woe them for wear and tear? I think one day will be more than enough to figure out the total charges. I think they are probably enjoying interests from this big chunk of funds. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT WILL BE STUCK WITH THEM FOR MORE THAN A MONTH AFTER YOU MOVE OUT!!!!
