Olympian City - in particular Phase Two of Olympian City - is one of my favorite shopping malls. There's a food court, a huge Taste, and lots of shopping to be done - what's not to love?
I would say that the fashion here is more geared towards the younger audience - for example, there's Pull and Bear, Bershka, Stradivarius and Mango. I'm still upset that Bershka left Times Square about a year ago, and if that wasn't enough, Pull and Bear is now gone too! That there are bigger stores of both here at Olympian City kind of makes up for it though.
If you're looking for sportswear, the UG floor has got you covered. There are big names like Nike and Adidas, and megastores like Sportshouse and Marathon Sports. I once bought a pair of running shoes at the Marathon Sports here for only around $300! For some reason, that pair and a few others were being sold for particularly cheap prices. I had looked in other malls like Festival Walk and New Town Plaza, and none had as good deals as what I found here at Olympian City.
Although Phase Two is my favorite, that's not to say that the other phases of Olympian City aren't worth going to. Granted, there's nothing much at Phase One - it's mostly tuition centers and fast food restaurants, but Phase Three is worth exploring as well. There's a lifestyle store similar to Homeless called Lost and Found, and there are a couple of Korean and Japanese boutiques. There are a few shoe stores - I've only window-shopped, but they look pretty good.
If you're getting hungry, head to the highest floor and you'll find Spaghetti House, Bene and the likes. There are a couple of Chinese restaurants too, whether you're in the mood for wonton noodles or dimsum. The restaurants here aren't super fancy so they are all quite affordable.
Olympian City is pretty convenient to go to - the closest station by nature is the Olympic MTR, but the Mongkok one isn't far either. I can easily spend half a day at Olympian City, and I bet you could too! read more
