Obviously, I'm biased. I know people with a membership here -- and while there are areas where non-members can go, it is severely limited. However, if you have a membership, it is a great club to join.
They have a decent café with Hong Kong-style western food. Their Chinese restaurant is amazing; some of the best foods I've had is from here. For example, their radish cakes and rice cakes for Lunar New Year (which they also sell in to-go boxes), or their banquet meals. They have a lawn fit for events, including weddings, and in addition, there is a pool, tennis courts, badminton courts, squash courts, table tennis rooms, a kid's ball pit... Basically all that you need for recreation. In a city like Hong Kong, any recreation is sorely needed.
You can enroll in classes here to learn sports, dance or other things. I did a few of them myself and some of them have good coaches.
But again, you need membership, or a friend with one. If you get invited to an event here, I'd be sure to check out the premises. read more
