The place was opened something like 4 years ago…read moreand I have a been a regular there ever since; they have also become a celebrity (no pun on the name) in the area too. This restaurant is not a chain as such but it was start by two brothers who still staff the place, much like the newer generation of hotpot places they serve not only the usual hotpot favourites but also specialize in seafood items and even serve sashimi if you come here on the right day. Dotted around the shop are blackboard with the special of the day being listed and you are strongly recommended to try whats on the boards as they will be the fresh items for the day. They have a huge choice of soup bases to choose from and one of the most important things in a hot pot- beef- is categorized into so many sections that you wouldn't have known that so many bits can come off a cow. The other items on the menu do go on and portions could only be described to be generous. Another favourite to try here is the special wanton that they make on site. The shop further benefits from the fact that it occupies a corner section so it is a good size with around 12-15 tables; they always have the A/Cs on full blast to keep everyone cool .Drinks aren't the cheapest but there is always some beer thats on special offer to keep every well hydrated. For drivers, you could park right outside but then again the fuzz does visit every now and then hence you will be well advised to check on your pride and joy every now and then.
