I strolled in hoping to find a quick and cheap outfit on the clearance rack - partly because I was out of clean clothes- and detergent. This H&M is on the larger side offering kids, men, ladies and home decor between the three levels. However, I strolled in hoping to find a quick deal and realized promptly that this H&M is more pricey than those in the US...and Switzerland! Not sure how that's possible when the currency is weaker. Maybe it all factors into the location in the heart of Prague along a bustling retail corridor for tourists. All this to say, don't stroll in hoping to find a killer clearance.

Let's try to buy in the same way in ten minutes Two female employees who worked between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. on May 23, 26, with long hair on their right desk, she said in a very small voice that "no." I asked her again in English if she wasn't selling anything, but she looked down, bending her head slightly down without even looking at her face. Asian racism may be common in Europe or the Czech Republic, but it is unusual to refuse to buy from H&M, which is also often used in Korea. If I tried to refuse the purchase because the method I purchased was wrong, I should have explained it properly. If you don't speak English, you should have at least spoken to my question in Czech, and if you don't speak Czech, you could have told me on Google Translate. If you can't respond, you should have told me to ask for help from another employee. I wonder if this response fits our customer response policy I was baffled by the thought of needing a T-shirt in an unclimate travel destination, but at the time, I went to another desk and lined up and bought it from another employee, but the next day I bought clothes from another brand and am not wearing them. Clothing is a form of self-expression. I will never use H&M-branded clothes if things don't work out in the future.

The overall ambiance is extremely good and the layout of the store actually flows quite well. The one thing that sticks out to me in this particular LV store especially when compared to the US is the price. Literally everything here is quite a bit cheaper then you'd see in the states and when you factor in the VAT refund, count me in! Overall, this particular LV store is a winner in nearly all facets of the luxury goods business and should really satisfy your shopping needs. Pros- Great selection (men's/women's and watches) Great service Fantastic prices VAT refund for non EU citizens Complementary champagne Great inventory levels Cons- Closes early

If you are looking for good quality clothing and higher end pieces in Prague, Van Graaf is a place…read moreto go. Of course, there are many boutiques all over town, but this multiple story building conveniently located at the bottom half of Vaclavske Namesti (Wenceslaw square) can be a one-stop-shop where both women and men can dress themselves from head to toe. The prices are on the higher end in accordance with the brands on offer. However, do watch out for sales, as during sales season you can snatch many a bargain for completely high street prices. When it comes to regular shopping, it might be a good idea to be in the know about the general price range of the brands abroad, as unfortunately Van Graaf has not completely escaped the Czech phenomenon of selling clothing for pricier than it is abroad. But still, I think that generally this is a great shop to get some solid wardrobe pieces which you want to last for long. There is a good mixture of work appropriate/more formal wear and trendy & casual pieces on offer. Especially guys will enjoy the big choice of shirts, with plethora of men's shirts greeting them right by the entry on the ground floor (often with good sales), and further pieces at the floor dedicated solely to men's fashion. For ladies, there is a good mixture of classic and trendy styles, and also quite a nice evening wear section (not too extensive, but it's a good place to start and get an idea if you are looking to upgrade your ballroom season wardrobe). The staff is always helpful and professional, even on the busier days when the store is buzzing with people.

Prague Thrift is small, but things are tucked in everywhere. I ended up getting a like new Zella athletic top, women's in-line skates, helmet and wrist guards. The employee went out of his way to help me examine the condition of skates ( they were excellent) and even suggested places to use them. There was the feeling that expats donated their things here when they left Prague. Some nice small kitchen appliances, English language guidebooks, novels, and kids books. Random sports equipment like a rugby ball, rackets, and even a folding exercise bike. There was a nice room dedicated to children's things. Men's and women's clothing was organized well. There were lots of shoes, purses, bags, some luggage too. It got a little busy on Saturday in the hour before closing time. There is a high demand fitting room there as well. Overall, I am very happy to have made my way over using the #16 tram. I could see why so many customers felt like regulars.

Granted, if you put this shop in most big cities around the world, it would be "just another vintage store." However, Prague is not like most big cities when it comes to vintage shopping. Options here are few and far between, and Fifty-Fifty clearly leads the pack in quality and overall curation of the pieces available. Ya, it's small, and ya, you might not find something every time, but Fifty-Fifty is unrivaled in my book as the best vintage shop in this city. Also-- the lady is super nice and gets most of her stuff from Germany... so you don't have to. And... upstairs... MEN'S VINTAGE ! ! !
